I love this bar. It is very sturdy. I use it to stretch my legs and also to hang onto for support when I’m doing squats and lunges. So happy with it.

I installed this beam in our basement to help my wife with her exercises. It is very well made and the brackets are very strong. The size of it is perfect to allow you to screw the bracket into the studs. Once this was screwed into the studs it made for an excellent support that would hold your entire weight if needed. The wood is great quality but our box appeared to have been previously used. So whoever repackaged it didn't wrap it well enough to avoid scratching the wood beam. Other than that the product is sturdy and good looking.

Solid and great quality

I bought the 80” ballet bar/brackets from the same company, with which I was very pleased. Each bracket included three mounting holes. I bought the 48” bar thinking it would have the same mounting brackets, but the mounting brackets have only two holes. This makes for a slightly less secure bar and makes the installation a little tricky because the bracket overlaps the top mounting hole.On the plus side, the two in-line mounting holes ease installation directly into studs. If you intend to mount the bar to a 2x6 mounted to the wall and are not concerned with stud locations, look for the 3-holes bracket. If you are mounting directly to the studs, this model is acceptable. If you are attempting to secure the bar to only the drywall, consider carefully your life choices.Outside of this bracket/bar system is the best. The bar is flush to the brackets, the brackets look great, and the system is very reasonably priced.

This ballet barre was one of the best value purchases, maybe the best, I have made on Amazon.It is very sturdy, as long as it is anchored into wall studs. Good length. Good wood.

I am a barre and Pilates RYT yoga teacher. I have a large walk in closet and wanted a barre in my closet for my own practice and also to come up with new material for my clients. This is a fabulous barre! Just the right size for one, and sturdy enough screwed to wall, to loop a thera band around it for arms. I highly recommend for home or small studio use. The 4ft size is perfect for one barre teacher or one student. Putting two on this barre would be too close to one another risking safety and contact with the one another.

Great bar! Installation was easy. The bar is smooth and feels like a real ballet studio bar. It doesn’t wobble when you put weight on it and it was easy to understand the installation directions.
