Very nice
It’s too soon to see long-term results from this but I really like the product itself. It’s a very nice consistency. I added it to my skincare routine about 2 weeks ago and I feel like my skin is getting brighter and more radiant. So far, so good.

Love the c serum. The tinted needs to be put on last.

They’ve got to be kidding …
This “travel size” beautystat vitamin c + sunscreen duo is a joke. I had my doubts about ordering something that only contained only .3 of an oz, but it was even worse than I thought. It took 30 pumps to finally get a small dribble of the brightener ( the white bottle). The practically empty bottle contained less than one application. This is definitely not worth bothering with — you get less than a free sample’s worth of product. The orange bottle was slightly more promising. I was surprised to see it was tinted, but I actually like that because zinc oxide sunscreen can sometimes leave your skin with a chalky pallor. This went on smoothly, was unscented, and — had it not been such a minuscule quantity, might have been nice. I’m glad I checked it out before taking it on vacation. It wouldn’t have lasted more than a day or two. Disappointing.

Sample size serum and sunscreen
Update: I noticed after submitting this review that the bottle had a telltale hole drilled in the bottom, typically a sign of an empty bottle being filled with who knows what? So I have no idea what's actually in the bottle, but whatever it is, it's not great. I reduced my two stars to one.Original: The BeautyStat bottles are a decent size, but they are extremely light because they include very little product. The 50 ml sunscreen dispensers that I typically take on short vacations are about the same size as this BeautyStat sunscreen bottle that holds only 10 ml.The sunscreen itself is a tinted pink that is not flattering on my darker olive skin. It also feels drying. Given the number of sunscreens out there, this is not one I would reach for, travel or not.I am a big fan of vitamin C serum and use it every day. I was quite sure, when I first tried it, that the BeautyStat serum container was empty. I even tried taking it apart to see if there was anything there. Finally, I was able to get some white cream to emerge. Not what I'd call a serum! It's mildly irritating, which my regular Skinceuticals C Ferulic is not, but on the flipside, there's so little of it that the irritation is not going to be a problem. Both BeautyStat items contain about as much product as I normally get in a free sample -- and I have the free samples to prove it. There are much better and less ridiculously overpriced options for travel sunscreen and C.

Almost Went in the Trash Immediately, Though I Had Better Results on the Second Use
My verdict is that this is not for everyone, and it may take some work to find out what products work with or interact poorly with these refiners.Universal C Skin Refiner Sunscreen: My first use of the sunscreen was a failure. It goes on very thickly and despite having a tint was so whitening that I looked pale, as though I was about to faint. I applied it after washing my face and it absorbed or dried on the skin quickly. Then my face, especially around my mouth and chin, felt extremely dry. I used my routine moisturizer, but the result was that the combined moisturizer and sunscreen turned to flakes that looked like dry skin in my magnifying mirror. I had to wash it off. I tried it a second time after using a balancing cleanser and had a better experience. It is still a little hard to spread, and still makes me look pale, but I didn’t have the sense that my skin was being dehydrated. My best guess is that the first time, I used a cleanser that had an ingredient that caused that reaction. As a sunscreen, it is a mineral, rather than chemical one. If I were wearing makeup, however, it’s not clear how I could reapply this every two hours as directed. It is not waterproof, so it’s not for swimming or exercising.Universal C Skin Refiner: The first time I applied the nighttime refiner, I had the sensation of rubbing a rough exfoliator onto my skin. My skin has never reacted negatively to anything, but this cream caused a burning sensation that had me quickly washing my face again to remove the refiner. Again, I suspected that it might have interacted with something in the face wash I had just used. I am not one to ignore signals from my body that something is wrong, but I thought I had better give it another try, carefully choosing a neutral face wash and high-end moisturizer on a different night. The second time, I was prepared for the worst, but only felt a slight tingling in one spot and the moisturizer went on smoothly and without flaking. I did find the pump bottle annoying, though. The pump feels as though there is hardly any product in it – .03 oz.?! I had difficulty pumping it out, and finally got enough with a last spurt from the nozzle. It might be all gone after two uses, or it might take several pumps to prime each time, I’m not sure, but it certainly doesn’t seem sufficient as a “travel size” to last for more than a long weekend. There's certainly not enough to see any lasting effects. In summary, I find this is just too much trouble for the money, and I’m happy just to call it done.

With skin corrector
The set came in a squeezed box, but the bottles luckily are intact. I like the one with spf. It’s pinkish, and when apply, it’s powder-like, not greasy or oily at all. Also the pinkish color is like some skin color corrector. Nice set, and food for travel.

Small travel set, small amounts, good vitamin c feeling
I knew these would be small since they are a travel set but I do want to mention the pumps that are used will only dispense a very small amount at a time as well. It takes about 4 or 5 pumps to get enough and still feel like I didn't fully cover my face. The correct and protect with spf is tinted which I found odd, like a pinkish tan color. I don't know if it would actually show color if you have a darker skin, my skin is very fair and light so it matched my actual skin tone. At first I was thinking is this a foundation? haha anyways, both the protect and brighten go on smoothly and you can tell they are vitamin c as they do tingle my skin (I get a small reaction like this with vitamin c's). They are matte and creamy, no oily feeling at all. Leaves the skin feeling smooth, buttery and velvety. The brighten cream is slightly easier to use as it's not as thick as the spf one. I use these on the weekends before doing yard work to help protect my skin and then those same nights before bed. Doesn't dry out the skin.
