So I read through about 30 of these trying to find a product that was not permanent and would not leave any residue or long term hair damage because my son wanted to try out a color and we are natural redheads and it's super important to never die our hair. Upon opening this package, the first thing I noticed was how neatly packaged it was. It came well wrapped in its own box and each jar in its own color labeled box. Each jar was sealed and stamped with expiration as well as ingredients and directions. The colors are vibrant and have a shimmer to them. If you are concerned with chemical smells, there are none. This product has a very pleasant smell. Something similar to a light shaving cream or fresh soap. I had my son get in the shower and wash his hair. We let it dry fully and then we sat down to do it. He chose green as you can see from the pictures. We went with some of the other suggestions to dampen the hair. I used latex gloves for application. This is a good suggestion. It's not necessarily messy and absolutely washes well but gloves are always good. I had a bowl of water and moistened his hair with my hands just enough to dampen it to work the product in. I took a little bit of the pomade, all that was used is also pictured, and rubbed it into my palms and then rubbed it into his hair. After I got a good coat, I began working it towards his scalp as you would with hair dye. The results as you can see in the picture were nothing but vibrant. Beautiful, wonderful, better than expected. As it dried it got darker. Any residue on his skin wiped right off with a wet paper towel. The picture was when it was first applied so it was a little lighter. It does dry like hairsprayed hair so if you are going to wear it in a style all day, make sure that your hair is styled the way you want it when you apply it because it will be pretty much unmovable until you take it off. We attempted to run a brush through it and the hair did not loosen without flaking out the color. Since it is a wax, this was to be expected. The washout. My son decided he didn't want to sleep with it, not really an issue because we can just do whatever color tomorrow or do it again. I had him lean over the tub and took the sprayer with just lukewarm water and watched all of it, and I mean ALL of it, come out within 5 minutes. AMAZING results! I am beyond happy with this product and so is my kid.

I like the vibrant color and once it dried it did not bleed. It was a healthy solution to color for my locs

I like the product as there are different colors to experiment with. Giving 4 stars because I got two containers of blue and no silver.

I'm Seriously impressed with how bold the color showed up on my dark brown hair, how long it lasts and how low the price was for 6! When most other brands are no less then $10 for Only 1 jar. A Lot of people that gave it a lower rating complained about how quickly it set and their hair was "crunchy" but many other hair products do the Same thing and as someone who struggle with products Not holding from oily hair and sweat, this Held Strong. Just move Quickly when applying it and Don't brush your hair out after cause it'll break it up and fall. The other best thing about this is the pic of my hair is 3 days After and there's still a good amount of pigment. Highly recommend if you want different colors but don't want to dye it, especially for kids. Oh and try not to touch your hair cause it Will transfer but i feel its a good compromise for how well it worked for me😅also washes out pretty easily with warm water and soap.

This colors but leaves your hair tacky and hard to comb through. Definitely for very short and not for straight hair. Young teens would probably be a better fan. I was wanting to make my gray hair more uniform. I’m over 70 and it’s not for anyone my age.

These wax colors were made for people with curly hair. You can use it of course if you have straight hair it just might look as good. But I just don’t like them leaving bad reviews, and making it look like this product is bad, when its for curly/kinky hair, maybe wavy hair too. I think color spray is better for straight hair.The product is SUPER pigmented, good quality, somehow my curls stay super soft underneath, and there’s actually little bleeding. I love it, as someone who was addicted to bleaching and dying my hair I’m finally giving my hair a break and letting it grow out and get healthy. So I just wanna use these colors since it’s non damaging in the mean time lol

I was very excited to receive this. However, when I opened the package I was shocked to see this product written in another language. I thought nothing of it until I tried it out. I followed the directions on the small box. I tried to apply it onto my dark brown hair. In order for the color to stay on, I would need to use probably about a tablespoon for a 6" streak. Upon applying, it dried so fast that it started to pull my hair as I was applying. Not only that, the smell was so strong. I felt like I was wearing cheap cologne found in the bargain basement bins. I wore it for a few hours and thought I would comb it through. NOPE. It was as if I had molasses and pomade in my hair. It reminded me of combing my hair with Aquanet back in the 80's. Trust me, the scent and tackiness is so not worth it. Colors are beautiful but not worth it. NOPE.

This hair color product is easy to put on, as long as you spread it evenly. The color is bright and stays that way until you remove it. Once it becomes somewhat dry the product will not bleed onto other items. ( I slept with it in my beard) It's great for the guy who wants to stand out with a colorful beard. The orange was so realistic that everyone thought I had it professionally done. The color washes out easier than it goes on. Soap, water and 5 mins. When I run out, I ll be buying again. And I m over 55! Love it
