This makes a great little gift at a gathering of friends and family. I ordered several of them and gave them out. This works very well it is sturdy and grips the table and stays put. It is a good size and weight and does the job of keeping your purse within your sight at all times at a restaurant or when you are out. This cat is cute and works great. I was slept able about how well it would hold my purse. It is 8 pounds. But, it held it easily! I bumped my purse and it swung a little but the cat never moved! I keep it in the soft bag it came in so it stays nice in my purse.
