Works great. I needed this because I use a pressure washer and can not use a water stop hose adapter and using this means I don't have to go back to the tap and turn the water on after connecting my pressure washer. Also useful when I use my normal hose gun that does not have a speed control as I can lower the pressure using this.

I have one of these fitted to both of my garden hoses. I bought the first one about seven years ago and it's still in daily use. This was the first Gardena product I bought, and have since swapped my hoses, fittings and sprayers for Gardena ones – as each of the Hozelock ones failed. This particular hose fitting is much more reliable and longer lasting than a standard stop end fitting. Plus, the tap can be used to control the flow of water – which can be really handy if you plug a car cleaning brush into it. My top tip for ensuring that this particular attachment lasts many years is that just before the Winter starts to get really cold, detach any spray fitting, turn off your garden tap and open the valve. Then if the water in your hose freezes, it wont expand and crack it.

Very good product. Well made and very easy to couple and uncouple. No leaks and the tap is so handy for when you wish to discont from you tools with out having to run back to the water source. I would highly recommed this item
