Schulke Octenisan Antimicrobial Wash Lotion 500ML

I have bought this product multiple times from this Seller. Although it is available from several others, I always find that this Seller offers the best value for money. I usually buy 2 bottles of Octenisan each time, as I get through it quite quickly. I use it daily for showering (I have a skin condition that requires an antimicrobial wash), as well as for washing the family dogs, and as a first step in any first aid that is required. Octenisan is a thinnish, clear fluid, unlike a lot of shower gels, that have a thicker consistency. Octenisan is great, because it works very well as an antimicrobial wash, but is so easy to cover a wide area and still wash properly, and it's a doddle to rinse, which is why I use it for the dogs as well; the worst part is rinsing all the lather out of even specialist dog products; this does a good job and rinses out very quickly. Also, it's no problem to leave some in or use it neat in certain circumstances, ie, for protecting a wound. I found that while using it to bath my own dog, the condition of her skin improved greatly, and her coat always came up squeaky clean, fluffy and shiny, with no strong smell, just a 'clean' one, so I bath all my daughter's dogs with it as well; she has noticed a positive difference too, and the dogs seem to like it. It's great for doing their ears and sensitive areas properly, whereas you have to avoid these places with many 'dog shampoos', as they would cause irritation; this absolutely doesn't, and helps to protect delicate skin afterwards. All the dirt comes away easily, it's perfect for sensitive skin, and I now wouldn't use anything else. I used to use the more expensive, well-known version, because it was prescribed for me, but Octenisan has the same/very similar formulation, without the pink colouring and distinctive smell (which I think is unpleasant), and without the prohibitive price-tag, and I prefer it anyway. The product is always delivered quickly and is well-packaged. I could not be happier with this Seller, and expect to be a longterm customer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Got this after I had to use some before going into hospital for a operation. Since it left my skin feeling nice and smooth I had decided to buy my own. I find it easy to applie to a sponge or flannel and despite some saying it doesn't lather I don't find that happens to me. Simple to use and a little goes a long way...especially these days where cost of shopping is rising! You can also use it for your hair..although I had to for the 5 days leading up to my operation...I don't use it for my hair as it doesn't make my hair feel right. My skin feels lovely and clean and no longer take ages in the shower switching from one to other! I would buy this product again..once it's empty!

This is the best, to keep harmful bacteria on my skin at bay. First use was 2018 post operation, after a skin abscess and recommended by the hospital. Used it with a face cloth to 'bathe' as unable to shower or take a bath for a few months. Love it because you use it like a liquid soap. I typically leave it on problem areas for 30 seconds to 1 minute before I then wash. 2 brands were recommended but Schulke Octenisan Wash Lotion has been it for me 💯. It has been a game changer for me. It has minimal smell and keeps my body sanitised, free from potentially life threatening skin disease. I now always have a bottle at home and still use it intermittently, to protect my skin, especially in the areas I had the abscess. Definitely recommended, from a repeat user!

I was given this by the hospital for pre-operation use and it is great stuff so bought a big bottle to use on irritated skin areas.

Die Octenisan Waschlotion von Schülke macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Sie lässt sich angenehm auf Haut und Haar verteilen und reinigt gründlich, ohne dabei unnötig aggressiv zu wirken. Besonders positiv finde ich, dass sie parfüm- und farbstofffrei ist und einen hautneutralen pH-Wert hat. Die Lotion ist angenehm in der Anwendung und lässt sich nach dem Waschen problemlos abspülen. Auch die 500-ml-Flasche finde ich praktisch, da sie für regelmäßige Anwendungen einen guten Vorrat bietet. Das 2er-Pack ist besonders praktisch, wenn man das Produkt regelmäßig verwendet.
