This USB Hub is a solid accessory for anyone with a PS4 Slim. The two USB ports that the console comes with just aren't enough, especially if you have a headset, a charging cable, and an external hard drive. This hub fits right into the front of the console and gives you 5 ports in total (although it occupies both the original ports so effectively just give you 3 extra USB 2.0 ports) which is a massive upgrade compared to other hubs available. It's a really clean-looking design and matches almost perfectly with the angular design of the PS4. It doesn't quite have the same texture as the PS4 case but is close enough. It also sits perfectly flush with the base the PS4 is on so doesn't 'hang' from the console putting strain on the ports. The one USB 3.0 port and four USB 2.0 ports are perfect for connecting a variety of things like controllers, external drives, and even a keyboard and mouse for certain games. It's a plug-and-play device so you don't need any special drivers or software - just plug it into the console and it works right away. I've heard that some USB hubs can have problems with external hard drives as they draw a lot of power but although this has no separate power supply (is powered directly by the console) I have had no problems with running an external hard drive whilst also charging multiple controllers. I have one complaint which is that the LED is unnecessarily bright - its not noticeable during the day but is a little distracting in a dark room but that one minor issue doesn't detract from this being a great little product. Great usb expansion for your console works really well

Perfect for expanding USB ports on PS4 Slim edition.. am still yet to try out an external hard drive though, but so far so good.

Works great. I use it with an attached external hard drive (port on the left) and a Logitech G29 or Thrustmasters T80 steering wheels. I’ve a 2 controller charger in the most right port and it is easily able to keep them charged.

I love this thing. I was always having problems with the lack of ports on my PS4 so once I found this I was instantly sold. So far I've had no issues, and I've had all ports full multiple times now. I sometimes use a mouse, and keyboard with my PS4, and I was initially worried that the ports might interfere with each other. Now after using it for some time I can say I've had no issues in that area either. Overall I'd gladly recommend this to any of my friends.

It's a neat idea. The PS4 only has an embarrassing 2 USB ports, so on paper, this device is genius. However, it isn't powerful enough on its own. I have a PS5 headset, and I always have it cutting out and getting a message saying "new headset device connected." Until recently. Yesterday, I was watching a show until halfway through the first episode I watched, the headset just disconnected altogether. Turning the system off and back on fixed the issue, until today. I decided to play Red Dead II, and when the game was still loading up, it did the same thing. I never had this issue until I had this thing. It will last you a couple of months if you're lucky. Also, make sure to take out that annoying LED.

Mi ha salvato dal dover ogni volta scollegare e collegare le periferiche. Nessun problema con l'hdd come invece avevo letto nelle recensioni di altri. Basta collegarlo alla porta 3.0.

This does works with a hard drive extension just make sure you use it in the blue port other then that it’s awesome and works with headsets that have Bluetooth for PS4
