Works Great
i have had this plugged into an SSD that was taped to my XBOX for the past year or so and it has worked great at transferring and storing my clips and emulator roms for my DEV mode have connected this to transfer laptop drives to bigger storages as well .. and has worked great.. build quality also feels really nice and doesn't feel like a hollow plasticky box

It worked
Thank goodness this exists. Our old laptop died and we had a lot of old photos and memories stored away on the old hard drive but no way to communicate with it. This adapter was easy to use and we were able to recover all of our files quickly.

Does not work well with Raspbery Pi
It seems to work fine with Windows, but would not boot with Raspberry Pi. It has a JMicron controller which is known to be problematic.

Worked great to transfer files.
Great quality product, not plastic like most of the units. No need for external power source. Worked great

Worked fine but only for about a year.
Worked fine for almost exactly a year and then quit being detected. Drive tested on multiple systems and it still worked fine with other adapters. Also as expected, the cable was annoyingly short. Will not buy again.

Great for getting files off your old Hard Drive.
I had my PC upgraded so I could get Windows 11 and when I got it home I found that one of my most important files was missing from the PC. I looked for a solution to getting into the old hard drive and found this. I was able to retrieve the file from the drive and install it on to the new hard drive. Excellent value.

Please buy before know it's work for your harddisk or not
I don't wire is good or not but it didn't work without adapter you have to write in description second for what harddisk.
