Belkin Rockstar Multi Headphone Splitter (Black and White)

I bought this so that my wife, daughter, and myself could enjoy watching the same movie on my Kindle Fire HDX while on a plane. That was the plan, at least. My daughter decided that we were not worthy of sharing the Kindle, so wound up not having any need for this device just yet. In the time that we were able to use it, however, I was impressed with its performance. I noticed no discernible drop in volume or quality, and the build of the product makes me think it'll last a long time. For what I paid for it, this was still a great buy.

Solid choice. Well made and worked as expected.

This thing was purchased in case the airplane to Hawaii was crappy and my fiance and I both had to watch movies on the ipad. The planes ended up being more modern and I didn't need them on flight but I tested it for that purpose and it worked perfectly. As for length of cord, it came with an extra but without the duration of using it I can't say for sure. From testing it out I can say that I don't think the length or the thing being close to the ipad would hinder me. That's just me though. The sound did go down a bit with the 2nd plugged in item but thats to be expected.

Product stopped working after 3 months of occasional use!

Ever need to share your music with 4 other people? No? Well me neither. But besides that this works very well for 2 people, with the possibility of more (if you ever have that 3rd, 4th, 5th wheel on a date).Pros: Little length of wire moves the main splitter away from the laptop/desktop which allows more freedom. Sound quality doesn't seem to degrade with up to 3 headphones. This was roughly the same price as a 2-person splitter, so why not?Cons: None. Really can't imagine using this with 5 people and trying to walk around.

Works, but if headphone is slightly moved sound gets distorted, lowers volume

Couldn't support surround on my macbook pro and didn't necessarily need surround for my digital/audio workstation so, I bought this. Works great! I had bought one like it at Best Buy and it was $22. . Ripoff. . I found this was and took the other back. Then it came with an auxiliary cable which was even a better deal! I took one of those back to Walmart that I got for $10. Thanks Belkin and AMAZON for saving me money as always!!

Worked as advertised. No reduction in sound quality was noticeable when compared to using headphones without the splitter. Only recommendation for improvement would be to make the cord a little longer so that the splitter does not have to be right next to the device producing the sound.
