I used to work with 1:1. What are the benefits of using this new epoxy resin that is 2:1 mix?

It's also suitable for thicker pours or larger projects, such as river tables, due to the lower heat generated during curing. With a higher hardness index of 85D, 2:1 epoxy resin is more resistant to scratches, providing a beautiful, long-lasting, and ultra-clear finish.

Here are some tips for drying your roses: remove most of the leaves, tie the stem with string, hang them in a shaded area for 7-15 days. Once fully dried, remove them from the bunch, cut the stem and leaves, and use a conventional or microwave oven set at 100℉ (38℃) for final drying. By taking these precautions, you can create a beautiful and long-lasting resin project with your favorite flowers. Hello, I'm doing a deep pour casting that is about 6" thick. Can I use your deep pour epoxy resin?

Yes, you can use our deep pour epoxy resin, which can be poured up to 4 inches at a time. Since you are doing 6-inch thickness, we recommend doing two layers. Please wait 4-6 hours for the first layer to harden a little and then pour the second layer. It's important to note that pouring more than 4 inches at a time can lead to excessive heat buildup, which may result in improper curing.

I'm looking to make a craft with photos. I've had other epoxy resins burn my photos, will this do that as well?

Accepted Answer

No, it won’t burn your photos. Our 2:1 mix formula releases less heat than 1:1 mix epoxy and thus takes longer to cure. You will need to wait for 48-72 hours for full curing. Please be patient.
