I bought these clips for my daughter to wear for her school nativity play. The price was fair considering they were delivered next day (I know how much they cost if I had bought them from my usual China based website which delivers in two weeks) and they were well packaged. Each star clips securely, although the relatively thick metal means you had to give each one a hearty shove to get it to click shut. This is great for me as they don’t fall out and get lost, not great for my daughter who moaned that it hurt.We’ve managed to glue glitter onto a few of them to jazz them up a bit and they look even prettier.

They look amazing however if you have curly hair you might have to take a bit of time to get them in

These came just as described but after wearing them a couple times I noticed that some of my hair where I had been clipping them is broken. I’d always been very careful when taking them out but my hair inevitably always got a little bit caught on the clips. These are really cute clips but unfortunately I can’t wear them anymore because I don’t want to break my hair more than I already have.

The media could not be loaded.  I am useless at doing pretty hair styles, but as soon as I put a few of these clips in, I instantly felt more dazzling.The clips are smaller than the product photo which I was pleased about as I have a tiny head, so wanted something more delicate.The description on Amazon says 'Gemstone Embellishment', however that information is incorrect. These clips are plain with no added gems.Size wise they fit within the width of a teaspoon.Some were a little stiff to snap closed, but others were fine. I found it easier if the hair was slick against the head and not too fluffy, then the clips went in better.The reason I gave 3/5 stars is because there is a design flaw with the product. At the tip of the star is a join with a circular hole punch. When my hair overlapped this part of the clip, it got wrapped around it and tangled.When I tried removing the clips they pulled my hair out from the roots.If I used the clips on a small braid which was free of any hair touching the join, then it wasn't a problem.The only way I could wear these clips without them destroying my hair, was to use my glue gun to seal the edges on the joins. It slightly spoiled the look of the clips but from a distance not visible.
