This worked perfectly for the inside door handle on my bmw. I had some minor cracking on my driver side inside door handle which is a plastic/rubber type material. I used the square piece which was small enough to fit perfectly inside and over the cracked lip. It is not noticeable and blended in perfectly. It did the trick and seems very durable so far!

Two things made this tape awful. It is very difficult to use because of how flimsy it is, and it doesn't seal very well. It's the kind that comes with a paper backing that you peel off before adhering. I got it to do a 3' long seam assuming a roll as long as this could handle it. But the longest I was able to handle without the flimsy tape folding onto itself was 6 inches. The other big drawback was that it does not stick well (except to itself!) Directions say it will set to full adherence 12 hours later, so you have to have a way to keep things from moving for a day. And even at 24 hours it did not feel much stickier. I used it on a thick vinyl I had cleaned with rubbing alcohol, and it took a lot of elbow grease to press the tape down. On the plus side it is low profile. It is similar in thickness to a cheap floatie, so I assume maybe it could work better in that application. But it seems to peel off easily.

Item shipped quick but did not work well for fixing the seams of my rain gear . Would not try again for my aplication.

I only needed on patch for a faux leather chair. After a month of using the chair, the cut area is stable and the edges of the patch are not curling up in any way.

I bought some to reinforce cracks in leather car seat. They are easy to apply, and very durable. They are transparent. I would rather they be transparent than try to match the color. You will be very pleased with how effective this is.

Remember the old iron on patches your mom put on the knees of your jeans? They were a heck of a lot better than these. I was very disappointed. A local canvas/boat cover company sold me some adhesive and scrap material that did a significantly better job. Save your money!

We bought this to patch the canvas tent on our VW Vanagan. There were 5 holes of various sizes. We had to double up on some of the holes because they were larger than 3 inches wide. We also used it on both sides on the tent. The tent folds into itself and we were worried that folding the tent back down would damage the repairs but it didn’t seem to hurt it. We haven’t had it out on weather yet but at least the bugs can’t get in any longer.
