Large tea basket
Really good for larger leaf teas or for when you want to make a larger volume of tea. The basket is a fine mesh and is quite sturdy. I like how the teapot looks on the stove, very cute with the gold iridescent gleam. Very heavy but it has a good sized handle that helps keep your grip. Has no holes on the inside of the pot next to the spout to filter anything, so you definitely should use the tea basket when brewing. Very nice ceramic coat on the inside and this teapot is very easy to clean

Pretty, heavy but a good pour
A beautiful kettle- can be used on the stove or just add boiling water to infuse tea.Stunning display item, don’t hide this in the cupboard.

Old school cool
This Charbrew 1200ml Cast Iron Teapot completely screams old school cool and makes a fantastic item for any kitchen - it genuinely acts like a mini centre piece when left on the stove, really beautifully designed. It’s made from cast iron and has a huge 1200ml capacity which when combined together does not make for a light tea pot by any means. I wouldn’t advise it for anyone who struggles carrying a half full kettle for example as the weight, although is relatively evenly distributed - is very much there and present. It’s a stunning tea pot, thanks to its Japanese inspired design and chances are will work on your stove or kitchen top equipment, so comes very recommended to those who don’t mind the weight.

Stunning, but heavy
The media could not be loaded. This is a really beautiful cast iron teapot - extremely eye-catching and seems really well made. I keep this in my kitchen display cabinet and regularly get comments about how stunning it looks, so it's an talking piece for sure.It has 1200ml capacity and makes about 4 cups of tea. The little label on the teapot says there are instructions inside on how to clean it, but mine seemed to be missing them which is unfortunate, as I'd never had anything cast iron before. I ended up looking it up and it's a simple case of washing with water and no dish soap. When you fill the teapot with water, it becomes heavier than it already is, so this is definitely something to consider. I normally make loose tea but the mesh sieve doesn't work well, obviously - so you can just drop the tea/bags into the pot and allow it to brew. The taste turns out really well and seems to taste better but then that's likely because making tea in a teapot seems a bit more authentic than a kettle! The colour is bold and I'm absolutely in love with the authentic, well-used look as well. The handle is sturdy too and leaves plenty of room around the top. The spout pours well enough and feels nice a smooth. It's not perfect, by any means, but for an Amazon find and for the price (£29.99 as of July 2023), it's an exceptional piece and I would gladly recommend this for yourself or a gift!

Beautiful cast iron teapot
This is one of those additions to a kitchen that grabs attention, just because of how beautiful and unique it is.This teapot definitely stands out, with its colour, design, and its old-fashioned style. It can be used on an induction hob, or a normal electric or gas stove.Because it is made from cast iron, it is a little heavy, but I do not mind this, and I love the ritual of making leaf tea in this pot for me and my friends. It is a lovely conversation starter, it makes wonderful tea, and it is making me happy to have it in my collection. It is a perfect gift idea for anyone that loves spending time making tea and enjoys outstanding and wonderful objects in their kitchen. With a price tag of £29.99 (at the time of writing this review), this teapot looks more expensive than it is. It came in a nice black box, making it a perfect present, that does not cost that much, but will definitely stand out.
