Great family game!
Game is made great, will last a while! Worth buying! Easy to learn and play. Every game is different, 1 round can go quick and the next could take up to 30 minutes. The instruction booklet is quite funny, the kids get a kick out of some of the funny lines in there. Can be played by 1 person, and the kids often do.

Quirky and charming pattern-building game
We played this game at a local game cafe earlier this year and liked it so much that I bought it as a gift for my husband. In Abducktion, you try to make patterns of ducks on your board based on pattern cards visible to everyone. In your hand, you have three cards that allow you specific ways to manipulate the order of the ducks. When the game is over and all twelve pattern cards are claimed, you count up points to find the winner. The ducks in this game are charming--they remind me of tiny plastic "rubber duckies," and they're fun to pull in and out of the silicone spacecraft. The cards also have humorous, quirky drawings of ducks being teleported, orbiting, being sucked into a worm hole, etc.Beyond the charm, however, is a thinky game for folks who like spatial puzzles (think Azul, Sagrada, or Calico) and planning a couple steps ahead. It's a relatively quick game, which is a nice change of pace from some longer games we play, but it also has some strategic substance to it. It's also a game our whole family can play.

Being abduckted has never been more fun
Cute game, very easy to learn, and has a pleasant combination of strategy, competition, and randomness. Can be played with as little as 2 players. More than 4 players really needs the expansion pack, sold separately. You can play a game in less than 30 minutes, or quicker with more than 2 players, and you WILL want a rematch! Game pieces and quality are excellent, which you would expect from a game of this price.

Well made, fun and unique!
This is an awesome game! It is cute, everyone in my game group loves it and we play it reasonably often. The game pieces are all well made and sturdy. There is a lot of strategy in the game, and it is a very inventive and unique game as well. I am glad I purchased it!

A little bit Quackers!
So basic it's crazy yet so strategic its insane everyone is trying to get the pattern they need yet its changed with each card someone plays this game is just plane fun with a capital F and everyone playing it will agree. You absolutely have to get its expansion if you love the basic base game. I Love the spaceship concept!

Great Strategy Game to Add to Your Collection
I'd put this in the Critical Thinking/Strategy category for games. our entire family enjoyed it. To start, learning it at first felt overbearing. The way the directions were laid out seemed confusing at first and we thought the game too complicated. After re-reading them out loud together we realized it was simpler than they made it seem. They repeat themselves making it seem like more than it is. A video tutorial would be a huge improvement for this IMO. I'd rather scan a QR code and watch a 3 min video on how to play. That said, once we got it it truly was easy and not overwhelming. We even made a few edits adding more cards to suit our needs. We played several times and fully enjoyed it. Expansion packs and duck options would be good add-ons.

Exhausted parents approved
Love this game! I've been on the lookout for games that are enjoyable, have high replayability, and not terribly difficult to learn, which is key because ever since having a kid, we just don't have the time nor energy to play games that take an hour to learn and even longer to play. This game works well since the objectives are visual, easy to see what your goals are in a glance. Plus the action cards are easy to figure out too.I also love games that can be fun for just 2 players. Whenever I find games that are 2+ and not specifically for 2 players, they always feel either lacking in the 2 player version or they have you play a 3rd auto player which is annoying. This game doesn't feel that way. It's fun just as a 2 player game and I'm sure it'll be awesome with 3-4. Just more challenging since the goals will change more frequently.I'm super happy to finally add another solid game to our game library that my husband and I can play after a long day of working and chasing our toddler. And as a bonus, we could totally teach this game to our child in a few years. Perfect. โค๏ธ

Gameplay simple enough for a six year old to grasp
Very simple gameplay. My six year old saw it when I got the game and has been wanting to play it. The mechanics are simple enough that even they understood how to play, although they arenโt old enough to understand strategy. We all had fun playing anyway. Fast passed, it doesnโt take too long to get through a round while waiting for dinner to cook. I appreciate the organization of the box so there arenโt ducks everywhere whenever the box is opened. I hope to enjoy it for a long time.

Fun duck loving game
This game is a fun one to help with problem solving, strategic thinking and learning patterns. If your child is a mini duck lover then they will love this game. The spaceship that holds the ducks is super cute. Both my kids age 8 and 10 enjoy playing this game. It was easy to learn.

Trickier than you think!

Fun strategy game - with ducks.
Great game which , contrary to the blurb, can take quite some time to play with 4 competitive adults. Good fun.
