It's a cover for existing fob
Didn't read the description fully to see that this is a cover for your existing fob. Fortunately I was getting it because mine was yucky but worked still. It works fine and functions is at like the fob did without it. Easy enough to snap ,together and looks good. The paint is wearing off but I wear it clipped to my belt so it rubs in everything.

I bought this to give my key fob some style and it did exactly what I wanted it to do. It was inexpensiveBut good Quality and easy to install on key fog, and doesn’t really change the size of the fob and fit perfect. It also help protect the original key fob buttons

My keys were old and the symbols were rubbing off so this definitely help! It is a little hard to put on and I find myself having to push hard on the fob to unlock it but it is super pretty and the key fob is very protected.

cannot see the buttons
the buttons on my old fob were worn out so was looming forward to this but you cannot see the buttons at all. not a clear blue like on the description
