Executive Replicas Red Sonja 1:12 Scale Figure

This figure is beautifully made. Even her face is beautiful. Moves well, lovely art. cool weapons. I think it is worth the price.

I love the company, they make GREAT figures. This one was one of my most highly anticipated purchases for figures, and I have to admit..im a bit disappointed. Prototype pics showed a thigh cut, but they improved that to be where the band on her thigh is. Not bad. The disappointment comes in for me, in the entire head, and the scaled armor parts, and a problem with color matching. HEAD. I dunno man..this may very well be the head from the prototype pics shown, but what I LOVED about the promo pics was the "sassy" look, and really nicely painted hair. The head that is actually on the figure is VERY bland. This is EXECUTIVE REPLICAS, but this head looks like it was popped off of a marvel legends. If I compare this head to ANY other E.R. product...this just looks unfinished. If you only collect retail figures..you may not notice...but people that shell out $100 for a 6" action figure have expectations of getting something close to what we see in the promo pics.. I don't like it that much. The Armor..promo pics showed a very nice wash to make the armor pop. There is hardly any of that here, and the armor look suffers on the hard. Looks cheap..looks like a $25 figure. And now..my biggest problem. In my last pic, you may not be able to tell, but her "rear cheek" color, does not match the thigh. And then the "rear cheeks" flop over her thigh bands? Nooo...this is a very athletic character..that is not going "flop" over like that..and it just looks bad from the back. On the surface...an average collector would say "wow..nice looking figure" now...if I show that same person my Hellwitch or Purgatory figure, that same collector would go NUTS and be amazed at the paint work..detail..overall layout and design of the figure... This is my first EXECUTIVE REPLICAS that I'm disappointed in. Considering canceling preorders for chaotica and La muerte. This is just not the quality, and level of detail especially in the paint department that I expect from this company. Everyone has a bad one sometimes..so this figure is not "burning me" from buying from them again, but, I will say I'm going to go through my preorders and cancel them, until in hand pics start showing up.

I think if something says it is 1 12 scale it should be that! The figure itself is great just to big for what I had in mind 😌.

Classy. Plastic. Shame the seamless ( expensive ) figures are clunky and ( wear) rip the skins when posed. Yea, these are delicate plastics. But her face and pose ability Is unmatched . Even by the expensive seamless figures. Just wonder if the plastic can endure the bouts of time.
