Gigabyte B650M K (Socket AM5/B650/DDR5/S-ATA 6Gb/s/Micro ATX)

Had some issues initially getting my new build to boot, had a boot loop issue as well at one point but a bios update seemed to fix all. Good quality motherboard, no issues since. over locked CPU and ram without issue as well. VRMS are decent and it was one of the few cheap B550s recommended by hardware unboxed the tech review channel that's reliable as you can get.

I went for this board after receving a faulty high end Asrock motherboard from another supplier. This is perfect if you're wanting a stable PC build without the need for overclocking. I'm running a Ryzen 9 7900 CPU with 32GB DDR5 6000MHZ Ram and an RX 7800 XT with kitted out RGB support. I also tested the intergated graphics output using the CPU and HDMi that's on the board and it worked as it should, in 4k 120hz.

My aim was to complete an upgrade to the AM5 platform at the lowest price possible. At the time of purchase, this motherboard cost £90 (Which was a Prime Day deal) making it the lowest priced B650 motherboard available in the UK. If you're doing the same, this could be the right option. But I would price comparison a few alternatives: (MSI PRO B650M-P, Gigabyte B650M D3HP, ASRock B650M PG Lightning) On it's own merits, this board is great for the price. It includes multiple fan and RGB headers, which let me get all my fans hooked up. No problems with the setup, and didn't need to update the BIOS (with a Ryzen 5 7600X CPU). No Wifi or bluetooth built in. It's also a mirco ATX rather than full ATX sized board, but that's standard at this price point.

I bought this board to host an AMD Ryzen 8600G. Gigabyte's web site tells me that the board is compatible with that CPU. However, I am unable to make it work: it never boots, just shows a blank screen. I flashed a new BIOS obtained from Gigabyte, but that makes no difference.

The price was appealing at the time of writing this review and bought the motherboard along with: Ryzen 7600x Ddr5 vengeance 32gb 650w power supply 2tb ssd 3060ti When I finished building the pc, I had a black screen. I figured out I bought RAM that was optimised for Intel and so went ahead and bought the one that was optimised for AMD. I still had black screen, and so I went ahead and reinstalled and reseated all the components with no luck. I then used ez flash to flash the bios drivers with the latest process which was a very simple process that was pain free with this motherboard. At this point it still wasn’t working, what ended up fixing it was holding the power button for around 30 seconds, which should drain the power and stuff. After this the computer finally booted into bios and finally finished my build. Not sure what the problem could of been, but the computer works fine now.

Desde o primeiro dia a placa não consegue reiniciar. Eu testei de tudo porque é raro ter que suspeitar de uma placa mãe e perdi prazo de devolução ou troca por alguns dias. Os softwares da Gigabyte são uma piada, eles mesmos não conseguiam mudar a configuração dos LEDs e crashavam. Não recomendo por nada.

A dispetto del prezzo secondo me è una buona scheda entry level senza troppe pretese. Bios facile da capire ed avvio veloce con nuovi componenti pc. Il memory training è stato veloce e anche il flash del bios richiesto al primo avvio del pc per aggiornare la scheda con TPM. Carina l'estetica e il colore anche su build full white come la mia, il grigio della foto è piu scuro rispetto al colore reale. Nel mio caso però non era adeguata al mio utilizzo perchè non riesce ad alimentare un 5v argb 3 pin dato che ha solo una porta Dled e un rgb 12v a 4pin. Ritengo comunque il prodotto soddisfacente per chi vuole una piattaforma R7000 senza spendere un capitale in scheda madre. Resa ad amazon ordinato un prodotto che rispecchiasse meglio le mie aspettative.
