Love, Love, Love this especially with little ones. Easy to use just let it heat for approximately 30 seconds and zip it across your package. On a large bag of chips I will cut off the excess bag and then zip it closed. I like it better than chip clips because the entire bag is closed. No more worries with stale chips. Easy and light weight to hang on the side of refrigerator. It comes with a cutting blade that you can use to open the chips. Takes 2 AA batteries.

I’m really impressed with this little bag sealer! It’s compact, easy to use, and genuinely does exactly what it promises. I’ve used it on several types of snack bags — chips, crackers, frozen veggies — and it seals them quickly and securely every time. I love that it doesn’t require any preheating; you just slide it across the bag and it’s done. The built-in cutter is a nice bonus, especially for reopening bags neatly. The magnet on the back makes it easy to store on the fridge so it’s always within reach. It also comes with batteries, which is a big plus. Overall, this gadget has helped keep my snacks fresher for longer and has already reduced how many half-opened bags I end up tossing. For the price, the convenience and performance are excellent. Highly recommend!

It’s a cool little gadget and works as intended. If you’re a chip eater this will be used a lot. There is many other things you can use it for as well. The knife is sharp and easy to use. The heating element takes a little practice but once you get it down it works like a charm. Very portable so that nice to take camping or other places.

First The batteries were already in it. Not sure if they are supposed to to come this way. They were dead and we had to use our own. The product itself isn’t very good. It’s too hot and just burns through the plastic to quickly. This might be useful for something that is used once every couple of weeks but for those thing used several times a week i wouldn’t bother with it. The plastic makes a horrible smell which is understandable and I don’t think I would use it often.

It actually works. I didn't expect much, but have been pleased with it's sealing ability. I would buy again.

Good for sealing small items

The product does seal on some of the bags that I tried. The blade technically cuts, but it is very thin, and not practical for cutting bags open in a practical way, especially for re-sealing. It can slice tape to open boxes, but that is not the most practical application for a bag sealer. You will need a pair of scissors to cut your bags straight before sealing. The lanyard material is a flimsier material, and wide, and I don't see that it will withstand well. Most certainly if you aren't careful you may slice into the lanyard fabric attachment just by engaging the blade the 1st time. The blade literally exits right where the lanyard fabric is. IT IS RISKY TO USE THE BLADE. If you do, you will have to use your finger to pull back the fabric away from the blade and hold it away as you cut. EVEN MORE ALARMING is that the slider feature is something you may default engage while holding this in the sealing position causing the blade to eject and go into your hand or wrist. If you default to turning on items, don't mistake, you will make this mistake of sliding it while holding it to seal and risking being sliced when you accidentally eject the blade. IT'S A MAJOR design oversight. To Note: I ordered a similar model with an internal blade that doesn't slide out, and those blades aren't strong enough to cut anything really, but I would choose the lack of function over the safety issue of the blade here. Sadly, the other models I ordered in a 2 pack only had one "working unit." That 2 pack was comparable to the cost of this one. If both products worked from that product, I would choose them over this. If you can overlook the knife placement, and risk than this product may work for you. This product is not for me due to the blade design issue, and several "close calls."

Item does exactly what its title says it does… with some practice. What it doesn’t do is keep your food fresher for longer. Fresher and longer than what, leaving the bag open? Use a chip clip. Once you open a bag of chips and all the nitrogen is released, your food will start to oxidize rapidly just like any other bag of whatever. The utility blade works but it’s pretty sketchy when deployed. The power switch is manual and if you leave it on, it will consume power but I didn’t notice it getting hot. It’s only when you pinch the two side together that it gets hot enough to burn skin and (obviously) melt plastic. I messed up a few bags of food practicing so I’d suggest using an old cereal bag, add 1/4 cup water and practice with that. Seal it up and turn it upside down. No drips? Good job.
