NOISY ORCHESTRA (Noisy Books)

This is one of my 18 month old granddaughter's firm favourites. It's very robust (necessary at this stage) and has lots to talk about, with clear, colourful illustrations of many animals and musical instruments, easy to push buttons, and lovely, clear sound. The specially composed tune is built page by page until the last page plays the full thing. The music is very accessible and pretty, but light years away from the usual simplistic jingle. Our little one adores it, playing it again and again (I hear it in my dreams), beating time and dancing to the music. Brilliant!

This book kick-started by toddler's interest in classical music. Colourful pictures and memorable melody with individual instruments easily recognisable. He can now name all instruments in the book and points them out when we see them elsewhere.

Bought this for my niece for her 2nd birthday and she absolutely loved it! It is a great way to introduce little ones to the orchestra. Each page and sound button introduces you to one of the 4 families of the orchestra and the 5th page and button has the whole orchestra playing together. The illustrations are lovely, too. The only thing I would say is that it would be even better if the sounds were of a real orchestra rather than midi sounds but it is clear what families of instruments the sounds are.

A fun book with great sounds for baby , easy to press and hours of amusement , creative sounds and awareness .

This is quite a nice book with lovely pictures, but there are a couple of issues with it. One, the sound which is not the best quality anyway is much too loud, and if there is a volume control I haven’t been able to find it. Second, the buttons to press for the music are not presented within the pictures but at the side, so a child would have to work out which one to press and they also need to be pressed quite firmly to work. So for the very youngest that might not be ideal.

Bought this for a friend (who plays in an orchestra) whose baby has just turned 1, and baby loves it, lots of clapping! Sweet little tune, very catchy

daughter loves it, and the sign of a good kids toy that makes noise is that it doesnt make me want to destroy it when its played on repeat.

The music is lovely and the design but the pages are a bit boring, there should be some touchy-feely stuff to make it more interesting to the babies, this is why I give it only 4 stars. Maybe when the baby will be older they will appreciate it more.

Me and the baby love this book. He's almost two now and enjoys it in new ways all the time! He matches his movements to the specific sections and it brings great joy to see him acting out a tuba, drum, trombone, or violin. 💜 The piece is great too. Each part is lovely and sounds great together. I'm partial to the woodwinds. ;) What's nice is every time you read this with your baby, toddler, or kid, you can read it in full, have them press the buttons, focus on instrument names or sounds, focus on animal names or sounds...the list goes on! I just think it's one of the sweetest books for a home library. 💜

Ma petite fille adore ce livre musical. Il est bien fait, il tient bien dans le temps, la qualité sonore est suffisante pour intéresser les enfants.

I like the book more than my baby does. Probably 'cause he's a baby. But it has beautiful illustrations, so many animals and instruments and the music is soothing - not scary or disturbing at all. Also has modes of transport in it. Once my son gets used to the book (he always takes time getting used to new things) Im sure he'll love it.
