Exactly what I wanted

Review for the 2xCD and 1xDVD version. An amazing recording - and the DVD is just superb - excellent quality sound and visuals, considering how long ago it was filmed. I've been wanting this for so long as I was at several of Eric's Albert Hall concerts in both 1990 and 1991. I'm trying to see myself in the audience! Amazing memories!

I actually istened to all three seperate "Live" radio broadcasts, over 3 weeks, that were transmitted by the BBC and I still have the cassette tape recordings I made...So to now have this hi'quality vinyl recording is an absolute joy..I have seen Eric live a few times in various line-ups, Cream (3) Derek and the Dominoes (2) and others (3)and I have many albums including some "Master" copies but the sheer quality of of the original recoding in these discs are without equal. I love "Live" albums and to often they 'Miss the Mark' but this is a masterful piece of work by the engineers who were involved in both the original RAH recordings and the production of the vinyl albums we can listen to today..Live recording at their finest

Awesome cd

Recording and pressing is quite superb despite the fact that the concerts are over 30 years ago. One of the best sounding live recordings I own and to hear them on a top flight record deck (Linn Sondek with Ekstatic cartridge) is quite an experience. There is not a bad track and there were only two short clicks on one side. I had to enlarge two centre holes which took all of five seconds with the tip of a metal pen and this is certainly not sufficient to knock off a quality star as another reviewer has done. Highly recommended.

What a testimony of 24 incredible rock nights! What a performances from EC and his brilliant bandmates! This is what I have been waiting for 30 years, I bougth the vinyl release in the early 90's, then the CD's and now the piece of resistance missing in my collection, the complete set of 24 Nights. It's not the entire collection (yet) but it's my 51st birthday gift from my wife and son!THANK YOU both!

This is simply stunning!!! Fantastic quality press and just a great listen 🎶 I highly recommend this to any eric clapton fan that appreciates high quality vynl.

I bought the original 24 Nights collection when it first came out thirty years ago. To my ears, it was a very good collection and represented a nice cross section of the rock, blues and classical selections that he performed at his concerts at The Royal Albert Hall. With this new release, it almost feels like the original album under represented the magnificence of those shows. Kind of like comparing a Picasso to a velvet Elvis (well, sort of….).I purchased the Rock based set with much anticipation (the two other pieces, Blues, and Orchestral , are both on my wish list). For starters, the sound quality is miles better than the original release. The clarity and separation of instruments is far superior to the original.There are a number of songs from his then current album, Journeyman, mixed in with his classic war horses. His playing is hypnotic on all of them, especially on a reimagined version of “I Shot The Sheriff”, which leads into a majestic “White Room” seamlessly.The band is tight and mesh in with EC’s style of playing. They sound energetic and just really bring these songs to life. The guitar solos don’t meander and keep the listener engaged.I’ve purchased his other live albums—Just One Night, Unplugged, One More Car, Live w/Steve Winwood at MSG and more—and must say that this offering is the, uh, Cream of the Crop.My only regret is that I didn’t buy the entire box set. But that might change!Do yourself a favor and get this one now! Just make sure you leave me a copy of the big box set.

Creo sinceramente que esta es la mejor grabación de un concierto de Eric Clapton; se trata de la época en la que estaba en su mayor apogeo, el disco es sencillamente fantástico y altamente recomendable para los fans de uno de los mejores guitarristas de la historia y hacía bastante tiempo que estaba intentando conseguirlo a un precio más ó menos razonable; el articulo, como siempre, recibido en el tiempo estimado.
