We got these for my daughter who has a passion for baking. She was interested in making cakes that she could decorate but was unsure of how to level out the icing so she could have a smooth surface to work on. These scrapers are perfect! The main scraper smooths out the icing perfectly and allows her to even out the surface of the cake top and sides. There are additional tools in this kit that help to create other shapes and designs on the cake that turned out very nice and give a very professional look to the cake design.

Don’t waste your money. The only thing I use is the small scraper. The pink frosting shaper is flimsy and snaps right off.

Great for me as a beginner cake decorater
I am new to the cake decorating world and this set is perfect for me. I’m not saying it is a beginner set but since I’m still learning, it works before for me. I don’t need anything fancy or expensive. I think these tools work great for what I need and as I learn. I’m happy with them. They are a lot of options on the scrapers for making different designs on the side of the cake. I really like them and recommend for a household baker.
