I got this USB-C to HDMI adapter for viewing my phone on a large monitor. So far I have used it in two different instances.1. I use my phone for internet services and do not like viewing videos on the small phone screen. In connecting this to my phone and a 24" computer monitor I am able to view content on a large screen and not use up my limited Wifi Hotspot allocation.2. Recently while camping ( in an RV) the location did not have Wifi, and the local channels were limited when we could get any. We did have a fairly good cell phone signal. Using this device with cell phone connected to the TV we were able to stream our DirecTV account selections for viewing. I would assume this would also work if you had Netflix, or some other service. In both cases the Adapter connected seamlessly and quickly with no problems. By plugging in a USB charger to the USB-C port you can also keep your phone charging at the same time. This will come in very handy and is seems to be well made.

The body is all metal, and the attached cable is fairly heavy gauge. The USB C plug goes in easy with a positive lock, does not feel wobbly or loose. The connection feels very positive. There is a USB C PD power passthrough for most devices. The only other port is the HDMI output. It works great for both my MacBook Pro as well as the iPad pro. Everything was just plug and play. I do recommend powering it for best performance but it worked both ways for me. It also comes in a little tin storage case. a pretty cool little extra. All in all I think this is a great USB C to HDMI adapter. Well made, works as it should, great value.

I ordered this USB-C to HDMI adapter because I teach Sunday School one hour and someone else teaches the other. My laptop connects to the HDMI port on the large smart television, but his laptop has a USB-C video output and couldn't connect. Up until now I had to loan him my laptop. This adapter works very well. Video immediately appeared on the television. There were minor adjustments that had to be made to send the audio through to the HDMI rather than the laptop speakers. It's compact and transports easily.

I got this USB C hub adapter to try and utilize 4 monitors with my laptop. I plugged the adapter into my USB C port on my laptop, an HDMI into the adapter, but the monitor was not detected. I tried to troubleshoot, but wasn't able to make it work.It might work with your system, but I wasn't able to make it work with mine.

Great device if you mainly need HDMI out. If it had a USB slot it would be a 5/5.I will end up using this for my iPad.

A lot of these HDMI adapters do not think about charging the laptop at the same time especially one with limited ports. Especially when you are watching a movie through the laptop and it's bound to die. This company was definitely thinking ahead by adding this feature. Works like it is supposed to without any issues.

So, my old android phone (OPO7T) would display HDMI from the USB-C port. However, it turns out the pixel 7 doesn't. I did test this with my laptop and it worked great as a second or third display. I like the feature that it has a usb-c port to supply power to the phone / tablet that it is designed to connect to.I did try connecting a keyboard to the port to see if it would recognize that (as a hub) - it didn't. Just something to be aware of.
