Blue Star Nutraceuticals CREA-TECH... If you're in the market for creatine, this is not a bad option with a powderless delivery system. The bottle calls for 4 capsules per day (not powder) so it's easier to take your medicine vs blending up and choking down some chalk. ++That this also contains electrolytes. Quality of ingredients is only as trustworthy as the brand. Upon a quick perusal, Blue Star appears to be a fairly new brand listed here with a limited product line offering and limited reviews so far. But, this appears to be a professional effort (good packaging, good instructions, no misspellings, quality product, etc). At current price of $50 for a 30 day supply (4 pills per day, you could take less) I think this is a bit on the pricey side, I do like the capsule form here. I rate this 4-STARS in consideration of price/value/choices.

I have been taking creatine in powder form for a while and wanted to try pills - I found I like the pills and appreciate the convenience. I was pleased with this product as it seems to be very high quality and is nicely packaged. The pills are normal size and are fairly easy to take. I question the recommended dose of 3 mg as I have read a number of studies that recommend 5 mg - so I started at 3 mg and now have increased the pills I am taking to 6 so I am getting 4.5 mg. So this decreases the number of doses I get but I think works better. Having said that I don’t really notice a huge difference right away when taking creatine, it is one of those supplements that takes a little while to build up. Seems like great quality though and with supplements that you are looking to get a good result from and spending hours exercising spending a few extra bucks is well worth it.

Blue Star Nutraceuticals CREA-TECH - Double Buffered Creatine Monohydrate is an easy way to get your creatine after or before the workout. The product quality is pretty good and I did not experience any side effects. I am a gym rat and I think I have been using creatine for almost 20 years. I always put 5gr creatine inside of my pre-workout mix and the same idea for my post-workout drink. The problem is sometimes I forget to prepare post-workout drinks and sometimes I am just lazy. Blue Star Creatine capsules solve this problem because it is super easy to take just 6 capsules and move on. Yes, I said 6 and you will think why 6? not 4? The serving size on the bottle is 4 capsules but 4 capsules have 3 gr of Creatine and that is not enough. The right dosage makes this product's price per serving extremely high. You need to get at least 5gr of Creatine and that is why the right dosage is 6 capsules. Well, even with a 4 capsule price per serving is very pricey so you can do the math. I like the capsule form better than the powder but you will get less than a month's supply for $49.99.

At 4 capsules per day, the 120 capsules means this is a 30-day supply. Most sources recommend 3-5 grams of creatine per day for expected results, so with the 4 capsules totalling 3 grams, it's on the low end of the recommended dosage. I guess the cost of these takes into account the need to load the creatine into the capsules, plus the other "go alongs" in the capsules. But if having it in capsules is easier for you than scooping raw powder into a morning drink, then this is a good approach. I think in the future I'll just go back to scooping the raw powder.
