Best gift of Christmas
My little one has been asking for her own earbuds for a while now but I wasn't ready to spend hundreds on a pair of airpods for her to lose them or damage them. When I saw these earbuds and that they were sound safe for kids, I immediately grabbed them. They come in a cute little case with pink on the inside with pink little rubber earbuds. They also come with extra sizes of rubber earbuds to size up/down if you'd like (or if you're like my daughter and lose one the first week you are using them). These came in handy on a long car ride we took for Christmas and the battery life was outstanding. I only had to charge them once (that I recall) and they lasted for a few days. My daughter even figured out how to tap them to pause and play her music...which blows my mind how quickly kids pick these things up. Overall this is one of her favorite gifts from Christmas and my son already wants his own pair. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like these, but the "pass through" mode is poor & can't be disabled.
UPDATE: I used these over the weekend while running errands, and the static interference did not occur. It seems to be tied to the lighting at my workplace, so it's probably not a widespread concern. I'm still not a fan of the pass-through that can't be turned off, and when walking outside it amplifies the noise from any wind, which is annoying. That said, it's not marketed for adults or teens, and the young children it *is* marketed for should not be able to block out their environment. I've added another star to the review.Original review:I got these for my son, who's a bit older than the listed age group, but I didn't think would care. And I really like the maximum volume limit. Stickers are fun for younger kids and the instructions are clear.First, of course, I tried them out myself. My first mistake was thinking that "white" meant "white" when I selected the color. The case is white but there's plenty of pink in the earbud as well, which might have been a hard sell for a preteen boy. Better choice would have been the blue. But, as it turned out, I never even offered him the earbuds.I played jazz, classical and spoken word as I did errands on a Sunday, switching between one and two ears, and comparing to other earbuds I have. The maximum sound seems to me to be a bit louder than I'd be comfortable playing into young ears, but it's a better limit than no limit. To my older man's ears the sound is surprisingly good, on par with any other earbuds I have - unless I'd start walking. As soon as it detects that you're in motion for more than a few feet, it switches to "pass-through" mode, slightly amplifying surrounding sounds and mixing them into the audio feed. This is a safety measure, meant to prevent kids not hearing potential dangers or warnings or irate parents. In theory, this would be fine. In practice, it would often introduce loud static into the mix. I noticed it in a few locations, so it's possibly tied to fluorescent bulbs or some other electrical interference, but it also seems to happen more often in quiet environments, so perhaps it's trying to amplify too small a signal. Either way, after trying it for two days the static just became too irritating for me and I stopped using them. I can't imagine my son putting up with that for long, even if the earbud was blue. [As I say in my update: A younger child would probably benefit from these earbuds, if your environment doesn't cause the static. It only occurred for me at my workplace, so it's not a universal problem.]

Connected easily.
Didn't have any issues connecting these to my son's phone. Quick and easy, nice and painless, just how I prefer it.The battery life seems to work for a good long while, and headphones themselves are comfortable for my kid.The sound quality itself is good enough, they're not a high-end set of headphones, but for a kid's first set they're good enough. Better yet, the price point is decent enough that when one inevitably becomes lost it's not such a huge deal.

Kids earbuds
Decent item for kids - allows them to listen to their movies, music or whatnot and not interrupt others. Love the fact that there is a volume safety feature so I don’t need to worry about little eardrums. My grandson likes the way they feel and fit, he hasn’t had an issue since the first time he put them on. I actually tested them out and they work as well as my set does!Would really recommend these for a first pair of earbuds,. as adults, we don’t think too much about wearing them, but think of the times you’ve blasted the volume too loud or lost an expensive set and you will understand.

myFirst CareBuds are high quality for the whole family!
I’m really enjoying myFirst CareBuds - 2023 edition. Originally I ordered these as a back up pair to my other earbuds but after using them and having all the ear bud sizes they’ve easily become one of my favorite headphones. I’m an adult and I know these are suitable for kids too but if you’re looking for a good pair of headphones then don’t hesitate to buy these. The good stuff: plenty of different sizes from kids to adults, crisp clear audio, noise cancellation, volume safety, long lasting battery, comfortable fit, affordable pricing, strong design & charging case.I really can’t say anything bad except one time the headphones had a very high pitched noise after removing them. Similar to a microphone being put to close to a speaker. This was a one off occasion and hasn’t happened ever again.Even though these are aimed at kids, I think from my user experience that they are suitable for all ages. The earbuds are small but that makes them comfortable when wearing for long periods of time.I also dropped the case with the headphones in them and thought I broke them but the case held up and the earbuds didn’t go flying out of the case like some of the Apple products I’ve had. The case is definitely strong, and will hold up to the test of kids.I’m very happy with these headphones and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable pair for themselves or their kids.
