TAMIYAModels US 2 1/2 Ton 6x6 Cargo Truck Model Kit

Since My dexterity isn't great I usually try not to put together smaller models. I tend to stay around the 1/48 size models. However I did not take into account that because this is a bigger style truck the model would be smaller in comparison. That was my fault though. This model was a great find. It went together with no hiccups. I truly enjoyed building this model.

Liked it so much I bought it twice. Quality is what we've come to expect from Tamiya. This is one of their older 1/48 scale vehicles, so it has a white metal chassis....meaning you need to use super-glue to attach plastic pieces to the white metal part. This comes already primed by manufacturer, so no extra preperation required of the modeler.

My54 year-old son is in a military toy mood. He bought the real 6-ton, 3 axil , 10 tire all wheel drive at a surplus sale. He drives it anywhere, knocking down a few trees when he goes through the woods. It is virtually un-stopable. He loves the model because it looks just like his truck.

It was in good condition.

All the parts were there including instructions. Just what I wanted.

Very disgusted with the picture and description of this product. Was not expecting the cheap pieces of crap that we received in the mail. Not happy at all with this purchase. Not worth the money or your time for this piece of junk. Highly do not recommend!!!

Goes together get, only problem is missing the "D" parts - headlights, windshield.

Another excellent Tamiya kit. plenty of detail and a fun build. Rode way too many miles in the back of 6 bys and have no fond memories <G> however this kit is top shelf.
