Love eco complete, more nutrients than gravel yet tidy unlike soil and doesn't need stiring up like sand. I only put it where I will put the majority of my plants however so 2 bags was great for my 200 litre (55 US/46UK gallon) tank.The price on here though is daylight robbery. So after hours of research I decided I wanted to use eco compleat substrate but found it pretty hard to track down so was delighted to find you guys offering it, and was happy to pay a little bit more to get exactly what I wanted however when it arrived it was the new and improved version “eco planted” that I could have got £10 cheeper elsewhere. I tryed to email but the supplied on just bounces back

Product is fine, the problem comes where Aquacadabra is selling it for £35, it’s partly my fault for not checking the weight of the product but for that cost I was expecting a much larger bag. They are simply trying to rip people off.

My favorite substrate for the $!! My plants grow beautifully and it stays a nice rich black. Easy to clean and to plant in! So much cheaper than the alternatives!!

The best I've found for plants. I've tried numerous substrates ,I never vacuum, detritus,and uneaten food works its way down for biological fertilizer for roots. I've only ever used the black type. Keep and utilize the extra biological liquid in the bag. No rinse required. Draw back it's very expensive but it's an exceptional product.

Wow. What a great product. I had some plants that were just hanging on so I decided to buy this because it never goes bad and keeps actual live bacteria colonies in the substrate. This stuff brought my plants back and some they now have new sprouts and are so beautiful and the fact that this stuff lasts forever due to the nutrients its gathers and disperses ill never need another substrate. I mixed this with my colored gravel and its looks amazing. The black with the colored gravel makes my tank look like a huge Cosmic Brownie hahahaa but seriously don't buy no other bullcrap this stuff is amazing. Oh and pour the water in the bag in the tank too cause it has the bacteria in it.

The media could not be loaded.  This stuff is great, easy to plant in, and most important does nothing to your water parameters, well it has no effect on my water after 2 weeks. All reading are perfect, and ph is always around 7.2. Will be buying more for my 120 gallon planted tank project. Awesome stuff!!!!!
