terrible leak between brass thread and silver tube which wobbles hence leak-what can I do

May need new connecting piece on hosepipe. Should not wobble. If however its the brass fitting . Either send back or put white plumbing tape on thread ( black piece) and fit brass piece back on.

Is the pressure enough to remove stubborn bird droppings off block paving?

If your house water pressure is OK .. then it should remove bird droppings with the jet

Is there a minimum supply pressure

No.. we have low pressure here.. and it works OK .. (its not as strong as an electric pressure washer ) . it just gives effective routine cleaning of decking and paving etc .. it works well after treating the area with say an algae remover first.. gets rid of debris OK
