VINGLI 16x32ft Solar Pool Cover 12mil Rectangle Blue

My husband loves this solar cover. The darker color seems to help heat the pool more quickly, and it’s noticeably thicker and sturdier than the one we looked at from the pool store, which was almost twice the price. It fits well, appears durable, and has been a great value for the money. We’d definitely purchase it again. ☀️🏊‍♀️

I ordered this for a 16x32 rectangular in ground pool with stairs at the end. I went with the 18x36 and cut it down - it was the perfect length to cover the pool plus the steps. I also purchased a reel at the same time. I doubled up the end and connected it to the reel. One person can take the cover off fairly easily. With two people it is easy. Putting the cover on with one person can be done. It is way easier with two people. The cover definitely kept the pool warmer. We never had a cover the first couple of years and noticed a big difference. During the heat of the Kentucky summer the pool would reach over 90 degrees. We have a heater but do not run it unless we are in the spring or fall. The cover also dramatically reduced the leaves and creatures that get into the pool. Another benefit was the reduction in chlorine usage. Our pool is salt water and the generator would normally be on 60%. With the cover installed, the chlorine levels shot up so I dropped the generator to 10 or 20% and it kept pace. I didn’t add salt for the majority of the season and thought something was wrong! The cover was worn out after the second season and I am purchasing a replacement now. I am surprised that the price is still the same after two years. For 85 bucks per season, this cover is well worth the money.

Only have had this for the past month and it works great. It nice and thick so I am hoping it will last for a few years. Keeps the heat in the pool quite well.

We’ve bought several solar pool covers over the years, and they’ve all worked well for keeping our pool warm. The difference here is that others have arrived cut on a diagonal, making it hard to be accurate when trimming them to size. This one was nice and straight, so we were able to use the bubbles as a guide and get a perfect fit.

Extremely disappointed. Not worth the money. I purchased this VINGLI pool cover on Amazon in May of 2026. I paid approximately $169 for it. Only a few months later, it is already deteriorating, breaking down, and literally falling apart. For $169, this is completely unacceptable. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have taken good care of the cover. When not in use, I store it on the VINGLI pool cover reel, and I even purchased a separate protective cover for the reel specifically to shield the pool cover from direct sunlight and help protect it from UV damage. Despite being properly stored on the manufacture’s reel and kept covered from the sun when not in use, the material has still deteriorated in only a matter of months. A pool cover is supposed to be an outdoor product. It should be able to withstand normal sun exposure, heat, weather and pool chemicals, and every day use. I certainly did not expect it to last forever, but I absolutely expected more than just a few months of service from a cover almost costing $170. I did not buy a bargain disposable cover. I paid a substantial price expecting reasonable durability and quality, and I took additional precautions to protect my investment. None of that appears to have mattered. Had I known this cover would begin falling apart this quickly, I never would have purchased it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this VINGLI pool cover. Save your money and look for a better-quality product from another manufacturer. A $169 pool cover that is properly stored on a reel and additionally protected from the sun should last considerably longer. Very disappointing product and a complete waste of money.

I’m glad I caught this deal, great value for the money. 12 mil is pretty thick and the quality is superior. I am very pleased. I realized that if the thickness isn’t listed it means it’s thin. I bought this one to replace the thin bubble wrap with I received in my last order. A solar cover is definitely a have to have when you can’t afford a heater or solar panels. Raises the water temp enough where you don’t need to adjust to cold water. Another great thing about a cover is that it will help keep debris out of your pool. Our pool is a few feet from a tree and it throws spinners like crazy. It’s a pretty blue that looks so nice when on. I didn’t experience any stickiness. As far as ease of installation, one person is possible but two is better. Because it’s so thick, it makes it heavier to put on especially if you throw it on the ground. My other issue is the size. I ordered the 15’ but is actually 16’. If I cut it down it will be more manageable. Sometimes we’ll even cut them into 2 halves. If you want quality, I highly recommend this.

I bought this a year ago (5/2025) and I can say without reservation that so far, this is the best quality solar cover I've ever had on my 20' x 40' pool as I go into the 2nd season with it. This is clearly made of high-quality material and it works very well. I used to buy the "7 year guaranteed" versions on the net and they all stink. They're all supposed to be 12 mil thick, but they're 12 mil is not the VINGLI 12 mil. Those other ones were either cut wrong, or the bubbles were popped when opening the box, or they tore easily when covering the pool. They are definitely thinner than this cover. For the winter, I rolled it up on the reel and wrapped it with a fence material that I purchased here on Amazon (MVPNET 3x20Ft Garden Privacy Fence Screen), which worked great. It still looks brand new. Finally a good solar cover product that works at heating the pool from the sun, keeps the chemicals in and didn't make me regret the purchase!

Awesome love it keeps the pool clean and warms it up a lot if I don’t take it off early in the morning the pool will be too warm! Great investment for pool owners definitely recommend!!
