Q: Is it easy to get your foot through the neck of the boot with no zipper?

It's quite easy. I thought it was going to be hard as well...but the leather stretches and is soft to allow your foot to slide in. I love them!

Q: How comfortable are these for walking/working in for an 8 hour day?

I've had mine for almost 2 years now. They are equivalent to slippers for me. I wore them almost every day to my previous job and found them to be extremely comfortable. Now they are my go to kick around town boots.

Q: Some say this boot is blueish grey black, I want the color in the photo, which is dark black with a vintage buckle....?

It is greyish black and not the dark black that you see in the picture. They sill look great. I preferred the greyish tint.

Q: How large is the opening? I have wider calves and I'm worried it will bee too tight...

The circumference of the opening is 13.5 inches. Hope this helps.
