not as high a grade stainless as I needed, didn't do my homework
used in a speargun build, beginning to rust. My fault for not paying attention to the grade

These are not 1/4 inch if you need it to go through a 1/4 inch bearing or other 1/4 inch holes.
They wouldn't fit. None of my fittings or the bearings that I was gonna use it for. First I thought it was the cut so I beveled it. Nope. They are too wide, more than 1/4 inches. Compared it to a 1/4 inch drill bit and 1/4 inch plastic rod I had. They fit, this didn't. Cannot use it for this project. Would have been nice if it were a true 1/4 inch. Not even gonna try to put it in a lathe. Currently useless.

Ends have sharp angles exactly as another review shows. But good enough for my purposes.
