It comes with ink.
Its A bit of A pig to get wifi working but once that is done all is good, Photo printing is better than I expected.

Great printer, does it all
I was looking for a colour laser printer but found that this megatank version lasts for absolutely ages, so far so good, been a great machine for the home office

Excellent
Very fast printing. Easy to set up although while inputting a WiFi password consisting only of numbers, I struggled to change from alphabet to numerical form. You have to press the link chain picture to switch to numbers. This is not explained anywhere. Another downside is that duplex printing is not automatic but has to be done manually, which can be tedious. The scanning quality is okay and multiple sheets can be scanned via the ADF.

Connectivity issues
This printer promised to be a good choice, with inks lasting longer and being more economical. I had no trouble setting it up, but that's where the good news ends. The long and short of it is that this printer does not like connecting to my computer. The printer turns itself off frequently, and doesn't reawaken automatically when I want to print something; so I have to remember to lean over and turn it on before sending a print job. I often have to cancel a pending print job, turn the machine off, and on again, before it can find my computer. And it takes SOOOOO long to print any images, I might as well go off and draw them myself. I've had Canon printers for a long time, but I think this will be my last one. Time to try another brand.UPDATE: After struggling for some time with the 'wireless' functionality, I found an old usb printer cable, and connected the printer directly to my mac (for some reason, this cable was not included with the printer - although they did provide an ethernet cable, which apparantly does not function with this model!). This solved all my connectivity problems. So I'll upgrade the review from one to two star. As a wireless printer, it sucks. As a usb-connected printer, it works just fine.

Product review
Arrived early, easy to install and setup. In the meantime, it’s been working great.

Really good value, as the ink lasts a very long time with normal home usage.
Definitely worth paying extra for an ink tank model, since the ink lasts a really long time. It has paid for itself already in terms of the expensive cartridges that I haven't had to buy

Fabulous all in one. Many extras. Win11 and Linux
This is a quality well thought out machine, not only does it have the ink tanks but also lists of web apps in Win11 to help you create docs, fliers with it. It is really easy to get it working with Linux too, through the Cups system where a driver can be utilised. There are deb packages too. The on board feeder for scanning is a big plus just place a stack and off it goes. Easy interface on the front display which is a tad too small, but also an app available. All of this with a small foot print size, it fits neatly in my office. The quality of print and colours is remarkable as is the depth of scanning quality. After demonstrating printers for years for the main manufacturers this for me is a surprise and is quite a package for the money. Well worth considering for SOHO work!!!

Phone connection is not easy
Had no end of problems trying to get it connected to the WiFi. It was easier to connect to my laptop than my phone, which let's face it more and more people use these days. So perhaps they could sort on that. The printout just said a settings error but does not specify where. Whether it was the phone or the printer. Hence only 4 stars.Anyway, all that aside everything works well. Printing looks good. Double sided printing a dream and black and white printing is really fast. All in all, I am very pleased with thus printer so far.
