I have used a full size Cajon, and this does sound a little bit different. It is not as full and the base is not as deep. However, if you’re looking to take it with you wherever, it’s decent sounding, and very versatile. Definitely a lot easier than trying to tote around a full size. It took me a few minutes to figure out where all the sounds were, but it’s easy to use and sounds pretty cool. I got this one for my child who loves to drum on everything - why not put that to good use?
