I got this primarily to clip one of those wet weather jackets that fold into pocket to a back pack or belt. The other I have used on an everyday carry bag for additional security, (the bag now discreetly clips to my belt when in “dodgy” areas: the Paris Metro, or tourist hubs such as Rome and Budapest). The clip is well made, the locking mechanism is a simple twist to release process which prevents accidental unfastening. I think that it does what you would expect, if you need something robust, secure and well made. It seems to suggest that the clip can withstand a force requirement of 12 kN or about 2,698 pounds of force. This is the strength when the carabiner is loaded end-to-end, its strongest orientation. The minor axis or cross-loaded strength is 3 kN or about 674 pounds of force. So this is complete overkill for my purposes. Good product.

Bought these for travel. Lightweight but very solid. Takes a bit of practice to rotate the lock and open the clip with one hand but easy enough to get the hang of - that also makes them secure from naughty hands that should not be near my gear!

Just using these for bunching keys. They are very bulky & awkward for front pockets of jeans, tho not impossible. They are also very secure and easy to use. Removing /replacing keyrings is simple and feels secure.Overall a very good purchase

This is a rugged, well made bit of kit. I ain't no climber, but this is ideal for the purpose I purchased it for. Impressed. I did not buy for climbing. So will not comment on that particular use. But ideal for my purpose of holding down plastic sheets in garden.

This, unlike carabiner's with just a clip, keep my keys together and don't permit some to drop off. Much more secure and reduces panic on getting home to find the door key gone

I’ve seen people use this exact brand for climbing !! ….. it looks and feels cheap quality so I wouldn’t use it for that purpose! However, I use it as a back up catch for my dogs lead in case the main one snaps, and would trust it to hold onto my 6 stone dog! After a few weeks, the paint has started to come off! The locking mechanism is still robust and still works as intended ! Definitely worth the money
