I've placed it on a 2003 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke so I think it will work for you.

The threaded nipple is I made my own with a semi clear squeeze ketchup bottle and clear flex hose two hose clamps attached to the nipple /i cut the bottom out of the bottle and hung it above the pump to free up a set of hands
