Much smaller than the typical capacitor
I was surprised when I first got this. It is slightly shorter than my current capacitor, however the mounting straps fit as the diameter is the same. Everything else appears perfect and I had no issues with the AC once connected. Note that the capacitor is only 4 inches high and 2 inches in diameter. Great replacement at the price and AC is blowing cold air :)

Easy to install and works perfect
It only took me about twenty minutes to replace this air conditioner capacitor. Just be careful when taking the old one out as it still does have energy in it. Take a few pictures before you take all of the connections off. I was able to get it back together quickly and my air conditioner has hummed right along. I would buy another one.

Worked great! A/C’s Back!
Outside unit was just “humming”…..dead giveaway for bad capacitor. This capacitor met the specs of the old one and was a perfect replacement. I took advantage of the optional overnight shipping to get my system back on line ASAP!

No issues after two weeks of use
Bought this capacitor as a replacement for a dead OEM Rheem capacitor. Pin layout was slightly different, but after figuring that out, the compressor kicked on and we've had no issues with it in over two weeks of use. $10 and 15 minutes of work was well worth it versus $400 for an HVAC person to come out and swap it out. Bought a replacement OEM capacitor just in case for backup, but even if this last a couple of years, it was pretty cheap to replace.

Wider and shorter than the old one but at least this one works correctly.
Been working perfectly for several weeks now. It doesn't fit the strap where the old one mounted but I managed to rig it into place with a few pieces of cardboard and duct tape. This new capacitor is shorter and wider than our old one but works just the same. (My setup had one wire to each of the "FAN" and "HERM" posts, and two wires to the "C" (aka COMMON) post.)INSTALLATION TIPS:As long as your wires are going to the correct colored coded and labeled post, it doesn't matter what male terminal you place the wires on:"FAN"(Green post) has 2 male terminals;"HERM"(White post) has 3 male terminals; and"C" aka COMMON(Black post) has 4 male terminals.[THE PICTURE I UPLOADED WAS WIRED INCORRECTLY BY AN INCOMPETENT WORKER]When I called the company to report their employee's wiring mistakes, they described him as a "new hire A/C technician". (In my opinion, he shouldn't even be called an A/C technician!)HERE'S THE CORRECT WAY TO WIRE THE CAPACITOR SHOWN IN MY PICTURE:The brown wire on the GREEN 2-terminal post labeled "FAN";The purple wire on the WHITE 3-terminal post labeled "HERM"; and lastlyThe two red wires on the BLACK 4-terminal post labeled "C" (aka COMMON).[Your wire colors will most likely be different than mine.]

Worked perfectly and easy to install.
My pool waterfall features stopped working and I thought there was a good chance that the capacitor had gone out on the pump. I ordered this replacement part and it worked perfectly and fixed the problem. I am extremely happy that I was able to fix my issue for under $20 as I am quite sure a pool repair company would have charged me a lot more for this part and installation.

It works!
My 10 year old Hayward pool pump would only run on low speed. If I quickly switched it from Low to high while it was running, it would stay running on high.Capacitor went bad, It wouldn't give it enough juice to start spinning the motor on high. This capacitor is a direct replacement, even though the model numbers are a little different. The important numbers are all the same, voltage, uF, etc...My old pump capacitor was actually leaking a very sticky substance.Changing it out was very easy, but be very careful that you do not short out. The capacitor by touching both ends with a metal Conductor.Pool filter is now running on high speed!

Should have done this years ago - solved an issue that the AC company could not figure out
I have a 25 year-old Rheem air conditioner. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. It always blows air, but mysteriously it would start blowing hot air after it had cycled on at least once. I had TWO AC companies come out to troubleshoot, and both times they used the old "the coils were dirty" excuse, hosed off my exterior unit, and charged me $250 for the service. Oh yes, and with a statement that "the unit is about to go at any time, so we had better install a new one for only $10K...".After a couple of years of frustration with the unit but not having the budget for a new one, one day it just hit me that perhaps the capacitor was partially working, but maybe was not working well enough when hot to be able to start up the compressor. So I looked at the old one, saw that the specs matched this one, and a day later I had the new one arrive from Amazon. From start to finish it took me 15 minutes to replace, and I am VERY slow on these type of jobs typically. Just be sure the unit is not getting any power and put your system to "off" and you should be fine. Now the AC unit works EVERY time I need it. It is truly like having a new system. So like many things in life these days: you have to do it yourself. But at least for an AC capacitor it is an easy install and won't break your bank. I am tempted to send an invoice back to the AC companies that failed to recognize this, but that is another matter :-)Anyway, 5 strong stars for this as a perfect replacement for my Rheem. Oh yes, side-note, the picture looks identical to the old one, but the new one is just smaller. It still is held in place just fine and needed no modifications, but just be aware.

Sehr gut
