It's hard for me to describe just how much I like this product!! I searched for a long time for a battery operated candle with some style to it - not just a hunk of plastic with a cheesy yellow flame. Then I found this set and I am so pleased with everything about it. It comes in a set of 5 candles; 3 of staggered height and two of the same height. Each candle takes 2 AA batteries. It also comes with a remote that turns the candles on/off, from flicker to steady, bright to dim settings, and a timer(2/4/6/8 hours). But the BEST part is that once you turn them on and set a timer, they will GO ON AND OFF AT THAT EXACT TIME every day!! How cool is that?? I have 3 on my fireplace mantel, one in a little lantern on an outside covered deck and the 5th one I kind of move around. I don't even need the remote unless I want to change the time they come on and for how long they stay lit. They are simply beautiful and the color of the flickering flame is quite realistic. Such a great value for your money! I like these so much that I am probably going to order another set and plan on giving some as gifts throughout the year. Buy these - you won't regret it! (Regarding battery life, it's going to depend on what kind of AA batteries you are using, how long you have the candles on and at what brightness level)

WOW...What a great product!!! I love mine. My other candles went out after 2 years of Autumn use. I paid a lot more for those than I did for these and these look so great. PLUS....a remote control. THis is a no brainer!!! :) Enjoy this product guys!!!

There are multiple settings you can use with the remote control. I got grey and the cream colors and the same remote will work for all of them. I like the flickering candle effect option so it looks more realistic. I also love the string lights.

So I got these lights yesterday and only two of the five seem to turn on at all (which is why I’ve given it 2 stars). I’ve tried troubleshooting with batteries and even verified it wasn’t a battery issue by swapping batteries with one that worked. Unfortunately there’s no way to disassemble them (at least to my knowledge) to try and troubleshoot or even see what the problem is, so if you get a dud you’re stuck.That being said, the two that work look great and are exactly what I was going for. The flickering effect looks good and it’s a nice soft orange light. It should be noted the string lights are white light, so those aren’t quite as soft on the eyes. The case around the “candle” is plastic, so you generally shouldn’t have to worry about them being fragile, plus they’re very light. Overall if they worked I would’ve said they’re great for the money, but because only two would turn on after troubleshooting every way I could, I’m forced to give it a lower rating.Update: A day after posting this review the seller reached out and offered to send a new set for free as compensation. If they work I will update the review accordingly. As stated above, the 2 that worked from this batch have been working great and I’m looking forward to getting a complete set!Update 2: I received the first set of lights just 4 days ago and already I have the replacement set with all lights working. They look wonderful and are exactly what I was hoping for. The seller reached out to me and made it right, and because these all work as intended I’m going to chalk up the last set as a bad batch and set my rating up to a 5 star. If you happen to get a bad batch like I did they will take care of you and do so quickly. I would definitely recommend this to someone setting up a romantic “candle-lit” setting since my wife loves them.

I was excited to receive these, however not all of the candles lit up. I originally placed new batteries in them, so I know its not due to weak batteries. I am so disappointed. You really expect something to work when you purchase it, but not in this case. There is no way to attempt to "fix it". Otherwise I would have rated them 5 stars cause they are very pretty when lit up.

These are so cute! They have a wonderful light that looks as real as possible with the flickering “flame”. The led lights around it add to the ambiance. A good quality flame less candle.

We ordered 2 packages of these because they looked cute. I received them today and was very excited to unbox... they're cute enough, I guess, but of the 10 we ordered, only 8 of them worked. The other two will NOT turn on, no matter how I try to position the batteries. (Another reviewer mentioned this as well)Of the 8 that work, 1 of them does not have the lights along the side working, as noted in the picture.I want to love these, because I love candles and having kids/animals - flameless is ideal at times.But I'm a bit disappointed in the quality and the fact that they dont all even work.. i could deal with the lights on the side not working but honestly, when you pay money for something, you expect it to work as advertised.Would recommend finding a different brand if you have an interest! At least get a product that works as expected.Update 10/25: I'll have to say that customer service was AMAZING! They immediately reached out to me and offered to send another set off straight away and free of charge, which i love. The ones that are working currently and we have out though - i love. Yes, they are plastic, but its a nice flame-free effect and having the remote is convenient. I'll update again after I receive the replacement!
