I had to look for an alternative heat sink/cooler for the card. I honestly didn’t think this will work, but it actually works GREAT. Considering that 4090 card do not have memory on the back so you don’t have worry about the back being cooled other then by the case circulating fans. Temperatures never got pass 60c even with blender rendering for a hour. I have an h510 flow so there is air that blows directly on the card. Installation was pretty straightforward if you know your way around a GPU pcb. The double sided thermal tape stick very well for the cooper heat sinks. It comes with provided thermal pads for each individual memory. The hot spot for them was never over 50c degrees. Overall it worked out great . The only issue is the fans that don’t come with the kit. It comes with fan mounts. It comes with fan mount for 13mm and 15mm length <<< I don’t remember the exact size fans but 120 x2 is need. It turns it to a 4.5 slot card once installed. I recommend getting slim/low profile fans if you are considering putting 2 GPUs in for rendering.I highly recommend this product with the very strong caveat that you research your GPU and get the necessary extra parts needed if you do have a 3090 etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heatsink Adhesive Weak *by J***T on September 14, 2023* Pretty easy to install. The adhesive for the copper and aluminum heatsinks are poor quality, I cleaned mosfets and heatsink before applying but they just fell off when I flipped card back over. I would recommend thermal glue to keep them on. Otherwise it works great. ### ⭐ RTX 3000 GPU Owners Beware!!!! *by J***I on September 21, 2023* I purchased this cooler to improve cooling on a Gigabyte Turbo Edition 3080. However, the offsets needed for the cold plate to mount to the PCB are the wrong size (too short) so it is very easy to overtighten and destroy the GPU die. However, the most egregious issue of this cooler is that the adhesive for the copper heat sinks is simply not adequate. I installed the cooler and let it sit overnight to cure. Upon putting the GPU back in my computer the adhesive failed within 15 mins of the GPU being under load causing the copper heatsink to fall and short out my GPU. This resulted in a dead 3080 and a very frustrated owner.
