Better than BreatheRight, Works Over Nightly Skincare Too
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm an overweight woman in my late thirties and--well, I snore. I go to bed first at night, so I was keeping my husband awake. I didn't know for months--and I love him for trying to be so polite about it at first--but I was determined to find a solution that would work out a little quicker than a few months of getting back into the gym. BreatheRight strips! They were... challenging. Where I lack dedication for fitness, I'm an avid follower of a nightly skincare routine--and that means a lot of moisture on my face. Including my nose. Know what you can't do when you're using BreatheRight strips? Have any moisture on your nose. Those strips will slide right off, even the Extra Strength ones. And they left some pretty gross residue. I really hated them, even though they had some lavender ones that smelled nice. I was really skeptical about Intake, like most things I see first on Facebook ads. Amazon is a great safety net for returns though, so for $40 I bought it. Watched the little video in the QR code that explains how you pick the right size band for your nose, and how to attach the nasal strips to your face. I was a little bummed when the directions explained that you should make sure your nose is pretty dry--so I dutifully followed my BreatheRight routine of making my nose a desert of moisture before applying the strips and the band. And they worked! My husband said he didn't hear my snoring for the next few nights. But I was still back where I started. Sure, Intake got the job done like BreatheRight strips on a parched nose, but they're also more expensive despite less gross residue. BreatheRight strips are about $0.37 vs Intake's $1.05 per night. There wasn't really a point to spending almost 3x more over the residue since I shower right after taking them off anyway... unless I could wear them over my skincare. So I tried--after cleansing, toning, a serum, and a generous night cream, I put it all on. And the Intake strips and band stayed perfectly in place over my stupid oily nose. Instant joy. I had to ask my husband a few times over the next few nights if I snored--maybe Intake was less effective with the skincare under it? But no, no noise. And everything was firmly in place in the morning. Awesome. Intake is going to cost me $1.05 a night--or $31.50 per month. That might be a hefty price tag, but it's one I can afford. Amazon Prime Days are coming up, so fingers crossed for a sale. It's worth it for my husband's comfort--and mine.

really impressed with the overall quality.
I originally got it to help with my sleep, and I’ve definitely noticed that I breathe easier at night and wake up feeling more rested. But I also started using it while running, and it’s been a game changer. I can breathe more freely, which helps me maintain my pace and feel less fatigued. Overall, I highly recommend this if you’re looking for something to improve nasal airflow, whether it’s for better sleep, sports, or just day-to-day comfort.I’ve been using this nose dilator for a while now, and I’m really impressed with the overall quality. The intake is designed really well—it feels durable and sturdy, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. It fits my nose comfortably and stays in place without any irritation. The adhesive pads are also excellent. They have a strong grip, but they’re not painful to remove. Just make sure you clean your nose (wipe off any oil or sweat) before applying—it makes a big difference in how well they stick. Once they’re on, they stay put throughout the night. Comfortable and Durable: Unlike classic snoring nasal strips, the anti-snoring relief strips are worn externally, providing relief without relying on the of the nose for support. This approach ensures a more comfortable experience for the user while providing more effective and lasting relief than traditional nasal strips and nasal spray decongestants. Reduces Snoring: The Breathing is a safe and effective anti-snoring device that increases oxygen intake to help nasal congestion. Reduce snoring and improve sleep quality for you and your partner. Reduce stress and increase energy to improve your athletic performance or just feel more energized throughout the day. New tabs in black package do not stay on overnight
I've been using intake breathing for 2 years. Up until last month It was an absolute five star product. The nose tabs never came loose overnight and the product was like a dream. Unfortunately, last month or so they changed the nose tabs. They are now thinner and flimsier, which would not be a big deal, except for the fact that almost every single night for the last several weeks since they changed, the nose tabs have failed overnight. In about half of the failures one tab will come completely off, but almost every single night at least one of the tabs has lifted partiall, which prevents the nose band from keeping my nose open like it used to. It used to be a product that I told everyone was the absolute best thing for weak knows walls, deviated septums, just if you didn't breathe well at night. Used to be amazing. But now I don't think I'll even buy the product anymore because it's absolutely not effective. I haven't changed anything about the way I apply the nose tabs, and have even started using their new prep pads, which are just alcohol swabs. I don't remember them ever actually having prep pads for the last 2 years, I just recently noticed them. They must have realized that they're new nose tabs are not the same quality adhesive as the old one. I never needed to do anything but wash my nose with soap and water with the old style nose pads. I literally had zero failures over the past 2 years. And now almost every night I have at least a partial failure with lifting, or a total failure where the nose tab actually comes completely off. I contacted customer service several times to let them know that the new tabs are now basically useless to me. Their response was that the new design only changed the appearance of the tab and not the adhesivehe. But I can guarantee that as soon as the nose tabs changed, which was very evident because it went from a white package to a black package, they immediately began to fail, where they had never failed before. If the skin on your nose is even slightly oily, I seriously doubt that this product will work for you. I am a 60-year-old woman who has normal to dry skin. This product literally went from a five-star dream product to a one-star failure overnight with the change.

Sometimes GREAT, Sometimes a Little Helpful, and Sometimes a Total Waste
I received the Intake Breathing Magnetic Nasal Strips Starter Kit about 10 days ago and have been using them most days since. Bottom line, when you get them just right. . .they work really well to open up the nasal passage. I seem to be able to sleep for longer periods of time at night when wearing them. I don't know if they have affected my snoring but they definitely help me breathe through my nose. The reason for only 4 stars, is that getting them on in the correct place and keeping them on is a SIGNIFICANT challenge for me. Just getting the non-adhesive backing off each adhesive magnet seems way more difficult than it should be. There is no pull tab or area to "peel here" that is designed to avoid potential skin contact with the adhesive. Contact with skin on the adhesive prior to putting them on the nose can cause them to fold over on themselves or reduce their potential "stickiness". When they say to thoroughly wash the area where the adhesive magnets are to go with soap and water, they aren't exaggerating. If I don't, the adhesive seems to fail shortly after application. If I scrunch up my nose while wearing the nasal strip, that sometimes loosens the adhesive. The adhesive often comes off while I sleep. BUT, I want to stress, when I get the placement right (or at least close) and the adhesive holds. . .they work AMAZINGLY for me. I'm hoping it will just take more practice to figure out what soap/alcohol wipes work best to prepare the nose for adhesion, be able to effectively remove them from the adhesive backing without compromising the adhesive, identify exactly where they should be placed, and consistently place them in the correct location for my nose. It's helpful that the starter kit comes with four different sized bands. I'm still trying to figure out which one(s) work best for me. In my case, I don't think my nose/inner nostrils are symmetrical which leads me to place the magnets in slightly different places for each nostril for full effect. . .but that can make it difficult for the band/adhesive to hold. It kind of seems like I can usually get much better intake in one nostril but not so much both at the same time. The plastic bands work okay with my glasses. Sometimes the glasses rub against the band and it's a minor annoyance (not sure if that loosens the adhesive). There's also the price for refill adhesive magnets. They're not cheap. I've also had to throw some away shortly after initial application as I placed them in the wrong location or the adhesive didn't stick. That's a waste, as it throwing them out after one use (even if successful).

Great, but DROPSHIPPED product.
I found out about intake through an instagram ad and thought it looked fantastic so I purchased it just to try it out. 20 dollars seemed reasonable, and I would say even for that price, this thing is pretty worth it. In terms of the product itself, it does everything it claims to do, it opens up my airway fantastically. The quality is great, the plastic is not cheap feeling, the magnetic applicator is actually very handy, makes it easy to apply, and it includes sizing for almost any nose size. The stickers themselves work great, and so long as you clean your nose beforehand, they won’t start to come off until you wear them longer than 24hrs. If I was rating based on the product itself, I’d give a perfect review. I like to wear mine before bed, which drastically improves my sleep quality. I’ve also worn it to the gym a few times which was amazing, but I’m not brave enough to show up with it on every day lol. Any situation where you need to open up your airways works great with this. Sometimes if I’m gonna be working from home, I’ll just stick it on the morning and leave it on all day! Positives aside, when I ran out of the adhesive magnets, I went and checked the price of the refills. Intake wants to charge $30 for 30 stickers. I don’t know how you can justify charging a dollar for a bandaid with a tiny magnet in it. Mind you, without those, the product is completely unusable. Since I didn’t want to pay the equivalent of 2 Prime memberships every month to continue using my nose strip, I went online to do some research to see if maybe there was a DIY solution or way to reuse the stickers… Turns out, I discovered THIS EXACT PRODUCT is on aliexpress, sold by the actual manufacturer for $2 dollars (for the same starter pack kit). Not a knockoff version, the exact same product. I have both kits now and besides packaging, the two products are literally indistinguishable. Same logo, same materials, same sizing, even the swirling pattern on the magnetic applicator is the same. Not only that, but the refill sticker packs cost $7 for 100 count… basically, intake is selling you a product that they didn't actually invent, don’t actually make, putting their own branding and charging you 10x markup for the kit and 15x markup for refills. So while I absolutely love the product, I can’t help but feeling like I’ve been duped into participating in someone’s get rich quick scheme by buying from Intake. I honestly wouldn’t even fault them if they sold it for a less ridiculous markup, since at least you have the convenience of avoiding international shipping and having prime overnight. But in my mind, selling a $0.07 sticker for 1 dollar is totally unjustified. Rating 3 stars, because despite the drop shipping scam, the product itself is perfect. If it weren’t for intake’s shady business model, I would have rated 5 stars.

My boyfriend can breathe!!
I bought these for my boyfriend because he says he can’t breathe out of one nostril and uses Affrin excessively, plus he has a hard time breathing when he’s asleep. As soon as we got them I told him to try them on because I’m convinced he has a collapsed nostril and wanted to see if these were really worth the hype. I measures the bullring then cleaned his nose with the alcohol pad and applied the stickers and then we put the bullring on and he took a deep breath and was like “Oh my god, I can breathe!!!!” He actually wore it all morning because it helped him breathe so much better. He’s looking forward to seeing how much his sleep quality improves since we know the product works well! 10/10!!! Very impressed!

Helped improve my sleep by quite a bit but not a miracle worker
It really opens up my nostrils and helps me breathe much better while I sleep. I have a CPAP and I have always had a hard time using it, I usually rip it off after about 2 hours into sleeping. This DOES NOT stop you from snoring nor is it a sleep apnea cure but it absolutely has helped me stay asleep longer and promote more airflow while I sleep. It’s very easy to use and the different sizes are nice to start out with. I have a pretty large nose and a deviated septum on my left nostril so it closes almost completely when I breathe in through it. My size is the L1 band. However there is 1 thing you HAVE to do. Take a cotton ball, tear off a little piece, and put it between the band and your nose so the band does not sit right on your nose. The bands are not the most comfortable because it is hard plastic. The tiny piece of cotton ball never falls out and I wake up with no red indentation on my nose or any soreness and I barely notice I’m wearing it. I tried it for my first night without the cotton and I had to take it off it was making my nose very sore. The Tiny piece of cotton fixed the discomfort. I can never reach REM sleep using CPAP or naturally sleeping, but on my first night I only woke once and it was after 6 continuous hours of sleeping. I felt great that morning for once. Overall this thing has improved my quality of sleep which is all I was looking for so I give it a 5/5. The refills are a little pricey so I’ll probably just try and use pore tape and cut the magnets out to reuse them.

Had high hopes but Tabs do not stick, nose is irriated. No overnight use.
I was trying to reach someone at intake but I have watched so many videos they just pop on one size, then another and the nasal magnets just stay on. They will not stick or not stick for long. I have used the wipes, used my micellar water . I finally got one pair to to stay with the provided stickers on my nose, (i watched the videos it told me to watch) and cleaned with pads so i put it on worked great but 45 minutes later, starts peeling then completey comes off. my nose is so sore from trying to get the stickers to stick to my nose to get that feeling i felt for almost an hour first day. 15 day supply gone in 3 days attempting. I tried to wear the smaller size after I washed my face put on but I woke up and can't even find that one. Used the magnet it doesn't open up the nasal strip also came off in my sleep and Last night i tried again with the last pair of stickers. Again it has been 3 days but every time i tried most immediately didnt work but some would stay for about 30 minutes the longest I had one on was 45 mins. I wore to bed. I barely move either but here it was, at least this time right next to me. But the Stickers stuck to it not to me. When I could get to work maybe should include 15 pads, although I have 100 percent micellar water didnt matter. it was nice to be able to breathe but the nose strips need to be customized/fixed definitely not strong enough also my nose is sore... Its frustrarting because i have a deviated septum and wanted these to work expected to work like advertised. Like they do for a few minutes but advertise overnight use .No way I can't get an hour use. Maybe I got a bad batch of stickers but It says if irritation occurs quit using so i will have to try another product. I don't know if it's a bad batch of stickers or me but disappointed. Returning. Giving 2 stars for the time it opened up for 45 minutes!

30 years of breathing issues, GONE!
I don’t even know where to begin on how Intake Breathing is a game changer for me. I was skeptical of trying these thinking it was an expensive scam, but after suffering for almost 30 years with difficulty breathing through my nose, trips to the ENT, finding out I have a deviated septum, mouth breathing (leading to whole host of other issues), I feel like I have a new life! I cried out of relief when I put this on and felt what it was like to breathe like a ‘normal’ person. I called family and friends & asked them if this is what they feel on a daily basis lol. I cried a bit more, went to smell things around my house, RAN for the first time in years breathing through my nose instead of my mouth, and had a great sleep that night. I have sensitive skin and did not have any irritation from the magnet strips or plastic bridge either, which is a huge bonus. I do have an irrational fear that it is going to stretch my nose out, my it almost seems worth it lollll

Chemical glue and comes off easily
I have tried these magnets but the sticky pads come off so easily they they just dont work. I trult wanted something to help but this is not it. I tried 10 of the sticky pads and as soon as the magnet connects, it rips the tabs off. Not worth it. The glue on the sticky pad also seems very suspicious, and smells like chemical

They work well but!
They are more difficult to use then Breath Rite strips , and they do come off when your sleeping , But they definitely improve congested nose . I will use the supply of magnet nose pads before I make a final assessment
