The NEEWER Metal Phone Tripod Mount (SP-02) is fantastic in many ways. It’s well designed, and easy and comfortable to use. It’s well-built, strong, and durable, yet relatively compact and sleek. My iPhone 16 Pro in its Otter Box fits easily and securely. It’s adjustable through a wide range of positions and can then be secured by tightening a couple knobs that are easy and comfortable to grip. It’s so good that in the past year I’ve bought four of them. It’s not cheap, but given its quality, it’s an excellent buy.

The NEEWER metal phone mount is like giving my iPhone its own VIP throne. Sturdy, sleek, and built like it could survive a drop-kick, this thing holds my phone tighter than I hold my coffee in the morning. The 360° swivel and 180° tilt are smooth as butter—perfect for switching from portrait to landscape without doing phone yoga. I've used a lot of NEEWER products in my photo/video career, and have always found them to be excellent for the price point. This tripod adapter is certainly in line with that. I've been using it with my iPhone 16 Pro all week to get both photos and video, and it has been steady and reliable. Being able to adjust and lock so many points of tilt and rotation on this has been helpful. It's pretty easy to use if you're at all familiar with most tripods, and feels relatively sturdy. It's about the perfect size for an accessory like this. Just big enough to feel like it won't fall apart, but small enough to throw into your camera bag in a pocket. I highly recommend picking one up if you're looking to step up your tripod game like I was.

I bought this to hold my cell phone to take video of my swing for softball. I've put it to other uses too. It's become a great part of my digital camera kit. I use the cold shoes for holding slave flashes, and the cell phone holder can also be used to hold other lights like LED panel lights for macro work. It's solidly built, it locks a phone in securely, and the adjustability is excellent.

As soon as you pull it out of the box, feel it, twist one knob or swivel one part - you know this thing is WELL MADE. I was giddy after playing with it for 10 seconds - not the first time I’ve uttered those words. Surely there is a German behind this quality of build? I don’t know… but more than just “every part moves as it should”, it moves better than it should. It’s metal, has some light weight to it and is perfectly engineered. They even have two size of tripod holes on the mounting plate. Kudos to whomever designed this! Thank you! Would absolutely buy this again! Going to Scotland in a month and this is perfect!

This holds my iPhone 12 mini with or without a case/cover on it. The one odd thing is that the base plate slides into both my quick release tripod heads at a right angle from the way it normally would. That works out fine on my tripod heads – it just means the tightening/clamping knob on the head is on the left or right instead of the front or back; but this could be an issue with some quick release tilt/pan tripod heads. I think ball heads should work fine with this. It seems to be well made, solid and well thought out otherwise.

I was not expecting the build quality to be so sturdy and well designed. It's got plenty of options for angles and the variety of connection types is a nice touch.

This NEEWER phone tripod mount is very nicely manufactured. It is all machined aluminum, all parts move and operate smoothly. The lock lever for the phone holding potion is very secure and easy to use.

A real quality piece of kit! Made of a lightweight but robust metal alloy that's easily adjustable for a range of mobiles. I use mine for videoing Youtube and Instagram clips mounted on a standard 35mm camera tripod. Simple to twist/turn and rotate, then lock firmly into position - it holds my iphone securely. Brilliant - totally recommended. Worth paying a bit more for....

This is robust and engineered really well I like the design and it seems like such a simple device had extra thought put into its design. All the buttons, knobs work perfectly to either tighten my IPhone 15 Pro Max in any position I want. Finally, the Arca Swiss bottom lets you attach it to pretty much any tripod. I have several of these clamps I’ve collected over the years and this is the best one so far. Neewer is making some nice stuff now and it appears they have upped their quality standards. This piece is a nice example of that. If ya need such a clamp, this is honestly a fantastic choice. The heavy duty build should make it work with any phone on the market. Recommended.
