This is pretty tasty jerky. Not the best quality meat ever, but its at least on par with the typical gas station options. The flavor is nice, quite spicy. Probably won't order again but if you like spice this could be a good option, its at least something a little different.

I used to be a wimp about spice, but have gotten much better over the years. My spouse loves all things hot and spicy so I ordered this mango habanero beef jerky with him in mind. Unfortunately, he wasn't around to taste, so I opened it myself, a bit wary since the envelope showed a heat rating of 8/10, and took a teeny tiny couple of pieces out. It smelled good, though spicy. The meat is nice and tender and tore apart easily, though it does come compressed into a bit of a big patty. On tasting it, the heat is definitely there, along with a nice light sweetness from the mango and you can still taste the beef jerky underneath. It was hot, but didn't make me cry. I could only eat a small bit but it was really tasty. I didn't see any notes on the package about refrigerating after opening but that's what we usually do with good jerky, so into the fridge it went. I think my spouse will like this too.

This is a bag of mango habanero flavor beef jerky. The flavor is very tangy and hot. If you like mango habanero you would love this flavor. Also the texture is moist and chewy. The portion size is a bit small though.

If you eat a lot of beef jerky, you know that it comes in many textures, flavors & heat levels! This jerky in particular is of the 'jerk' variety in that it's more tough and chewy. You really have to rip at it. However, it's not at all dry and actually very moist.Heat wise, it's given an 8 out of 10 on the bag. Though I love spicy food, I think it's more of a 6 or 7. But I had someone else try and they struggled to eat the entire piece. So I guess it depends on the individual!That being said, the flavor is really good! Mild mango with a nice little spice!In the end, I may or may not order again. While I liked it, it wasn't a fave. Still worth a try though!

My teenage son and husband took it on a trip and finished it off. They tell me it tasted sweet and spicy - but not too spicy. The spice builds over time to a “6 or 7” on the heat scale. They said that the jerky tasted very tender (nothing worse than tough jerky). The jerky includes a sweetness, but not necessarily a mango taste. My husband said he would buy it again.

Scorchy’s Jerky Mango Habanero beef jerky 85g single pack. Hubby and I got this and their other Carolina Reaper flavor. We liked this one a lot more. It’s good if you have a decent spice tolerance AND want to be able to taste what you’re eating lol. It’s spicy and tender with a hint of sweetness. You can smell the tangy, Tabasco-y habanero as soon as you open the bag. There was more pieces in this bag than the other one but they were pretty small. It was about half full at least. I would recommend this brand to heat lovers.

This mango habanero jerky is some of the spiciest food that I have eaten! This jerky gives a great heat right off the bat, and the burn steadily builds to truly scorch the mouth! The sweet mango flavor melds very well with the spice and flavor of the high quality meat, and makes for an addicting -if not a bit painful- snack. The heat scale is on point with what I expected, and this jerky is awesome for a snack that bites back!The meat is a great balance of chewy and soft, isn't hard on the teeth and nor does it fall apart. There is little in the way of fatty chunks or other bits of gristle in this, and the jerky meat is very satisfying.I have also tried the Screaming Jalapeno of Scorchy's jerky, and I'm just as satisfied with it.
