GTR conveys the exciting feeling of driving with some of the most exotic sports cars in the world such as Ferrari 550 and 360, Lamborghini Diablo and Murciélago, Chrysler Viper GTS-R, Porsche 996 and Saleen S7-R on some of the most demanding routes in the world, including four of the official formula one-tracks. As part of an exclusive agreement with the FIA, the SimBin Development Team develops a racing simulation that is located in the GT Championship and features more than 19 different supersports cars, 10 officially licensed routes and 2 bonus routes (bonus routes are available online via free added value packs). GTR also has the FIA GT 24 hour race from Spa, one of the most prestigious events of motorsports. This event has been taken on the world famous track of Spa Francorchamps since 1924. Every year, the best of the best meet in a rugged, 24 hour race. The race regularly has more than 100,000 spectators and can be compared to the 24 hours of Le Mans and Daytona. GTR reproduces this outstanding race in captivating manner (the entire FIA GT 24 hour race from Spa is available online as free content in our Added Value Packs programme). The game is an exact simulation of the FIA GT championship at the highest level, but also offers an arcade mode where fast fun is at the foreground. The game includes an extensive single player mode as well as a complete multiplayer mode including online competitions. The highly detailed physics model ensures that every car drives just like its real model. The routes have been reproduced using GPS data (Global Positioning System), the technical data of the vehicles come directly from the FIA GT racing teams. This makes GTR the most accurate simulation of the best super sports cars on the world's most famous racetracks. The level of detail and accuracy with which every track has been recreated outperforms everything previously before. The player experiences every unevenness, pothhole, curve and edge stone just like the real drivers do. The different track coverings have been precisely imitated with specific physics models. Asphalt therefore "feels" like real asphalt, grass like real grass, concrete like real concrete and so on. The player can ride a race on a specific track under the same weather conditions that prevented in reality at the time of the real race. These are not only optical effects, but also the texture of surfaces changes, for example, marked surfaces on the edge of the track are very slippery. The trail environments have also been modelled with vibrant scenery and sound effects. Even the direction of light incidence is based on the exact level of the sun at the time of the real race.
