After spending time with headphones like the HiFiMAN HE1000 Stealth, Audeze LCD-X, and Focal Clear OG, I came away with one unexpected conclusion: the Ananda Nano is still the pair I reach for most. The Ananda Nano captures everything I love about the HiFiMAN sound. It delivers an expansive soundstage, excellent imaging, outstanding detail retrieval, and a level of clarity that makes music feel open and effortless. It has enough technical ability to reveal new details in familiar tracks while still keeping the music engaging and emotionally exciting. The HE1000 Stealth is undeniably the more technically capable headphone. It has a larger, more holographic soundstage, greater separation, and extracts even more detail from recordings. There's no question it's the superior headphone from a purely technical perspective. What surprised me, however, was that those improvements didn't translate into greater enjoyment for me. The HE1000 often felt like it was asking me to analyze the music rather than simply enjoy it. The Ananda Nano strikes a balance that I personally find much more satisfying. It preserves the spacious, airy presentation HiFiMAN is known for while remaining more immediate, energetic, and fun. Compared to the Audeze LCD-X, the Nano sacrifices some bass weight and slam but feels significantly lighter, more spacious, and more comfortable for long listening sessions. The LCD-X is fantastic when I want impact and warmth, while the Nano excels at creating an open, effortless presentation that works beautifully across almost every genre. The Focal Clear OG remains one of the best all-around dynamic headphones I've heard. It's intimate, dynamic, and incredibly engaging. But when I want music to breathe and stretch beyond the confines of my head, I consistently find myself reaching for the Ananda Nano. It provides much of that sense of scale that makes the HE1000 so impressive, but at a fraction of the cost. That's what makes the Ananda Nano so special. It's one of those rare products where the performance dramatically exceeds the asking price. Even after listening to headphones costing two or three times as much, I never felt like the Nano suddenly became inadequate. If anything, those comparisons reinforced just how much HiFiMAN managed to achieve at this price point. No, it doesn't outperform flagship headphones in every category. It shouldn't. But it gets remarkably close where it matters most, and the improvements offered by much more expensive headphones quickly become a game of diminishing returns. For anyone looking to experience the spacious, detailed, airy "HiFiMAN sound" without spending flagship money, I genuinely believe the Ananda Nano is one of the best values in high-end audio today. It's a headphone that competes far above its price class and, more importantly, keeps me coming back simply because I enjoy listening to it. For me, that's what great audio is all about.

I bought an Ananda Nano the day after Black Friday. I wanted to make an informed decision, then write a review. My 1st 6 month observation: burn in does work and happen Here's more observations. After 6 months, I believe in burn in, and my Nano's kept getting better each time. At first I didn't use eq till 3 months in. I should have started with the eq, as that makes all the difference with these headphones. Today was the first day I tried them against my Edifiers M60s. The M60 really feels high def with the auto eq. I've had that over a year, and found out today, front/center position for the best high def on the M60 speaker adding EQ, finally heard it clear and power. This is, despite being late on testing, I've been loving it for the last year, but if you wanted to hear a review of the M60, you would have searched for it. This is more for the headphones. The Nano got better over time. I know a lot of people don't believe in burn in. I don't share their values after hearing the improvements in the past 6 months. Also, the right amp/dac does make a larger difference than I expected. They can get really loud, but they still don't distort. My APM's are close in quality and loudness, but do not come close in quality. I learned about the difference in headphones while playing a game (not really doing active listening) and just use Apple Music with the headphones. For any games on the Mac, I use Colibri, which takes up a lot less system resources. I read a lot of reviews, but it doesn't do the Nano's credit. The Nano should be enough, at a lower price, but high value. I learned what separation, soundstage, and layering meant with these headphones. If you can't decide before you buy, get the Nano if it's one of your considerations to buy. I bought them without testing then first, but I was confident it would work for me with the highs because I could put a filter and mitigate the sound. I'm glad I put in all the research and time before purchasing so I feel more confident in the headphones. If it's the choice of one of many, just grab these first.

I am quite amazed by these headphones. The fit and sound produced from these headphones is exceptionally well done. I own many kinds of headphones and ear buds and I have decided to place these as my daily driver headphone. I've heard many things about these, namely it is somewhere between a side-grade and upgrade from the Edition XS in terms of sound quality. For me, it definitely was an upgrade. In terms of fit, these headphones are very snug. If you don't like a tight fit, these may be hard to wear, but the tight fit helps reduce the fatigue from the weight of the set from all sitting on the top of your head. The snug fit also helps improve the consistency of wearing the headphones. Comparatively, the Edition XS is a far looser fit, but for me the cups tend to want to shift a bit when tilting or turning my head and I had to get a headband cushion to help spread and alleviate the pressure on the top of my head. The Nano cups tilt, but pivoting is limited by the stiffness of the material of the headband. The materials feel pretty good, but isn't quite where I'd call it high end or luxury. The part of the pad that contacts your head is a breathable fabric material, but it is a little coarse and lacks the softness for comfort. I can wear these all day no problem though. As for sound quality, these headphones are tremendously good with my setup. These headphones sound much different depending on what you feed it. I've hooked them up to Ifi's Hifiman version Zen Dac and Can. I've tried them on a Lyr3 with an add-in DAC card, and also the Pietus Maximus, with the two prior connected to the D300 RHOM DAC, and just for curiosity sake, my PC headphone out. I believe to get the most out of these headphones, you'll need to get appropriate amplification. The Ifi zen dac and can hifiman edition sound reasonably good with these and the added xbass/space feature allow for some easy re-tuning. Both the built-in PC headphone jack and Lyr3 produced an airy, thinner, treble focused sound. The Lyr 3 was more dynamic than the PC jack (plus the PC had to be turned 100% to get a decent listening volume) and was a little more warmer with the d300 instead of the add-in dac card. The Pietus Maximus was my favorite, it produced a very warm signature which balanced out the brightness of the headphones. The bass is really good, and with the design of the driver, I can have fun running the EQ hard. The bass produced on these are very well controlled, and is well tuned. I listen to a lot of electronic, orchestral, rock, OST, game music, and these do a fantastic job. With proper amplification, these headphones can produce bass with enough precision that you can mentally see bass notes pan. It's kind of spooky how vividly you can hear the bass. The only thing these headphones don't do is give you the rumble you'd have felt if it was something like a dynamic driver. It could be good or bad, but I don't mind just hearing the bass. These headphones are very bright. They create an exceptionally clear high end and focus on perceived resolution of sound. I find that these create an improved sense of presence, like you aren't really listening from headphones/speakers. Songs that are already bright, like some rock tracks can be unbearable to listen to, without eq, as a result. For me, the Ananda Nano sounds like a refinement of the edition XS. It sounds a little more clear and distinct in the mids and highs, and the bass is a bit less present and a bit more tighter, but the driver is more well put together and is more flexible with EQ. With my edition XS, I can't boost the bass much without hearing distortion, but with the Nano I could put ridiculous amounts of gain in the bass section without problems. I've experienced some issues with QC on these (in addition to the edition XS.) My first set had problems where there was audible distortion. The second set I received works perfectly. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. In the end I found myself to prefer the Ananda Nano over the edition XS and these will be my daily driver for now. At the current price range, I'd wholeheartedly recommend giving these a try. I would not recommend these without an audio setup.

Long story short, these are amazing and worth the price point. I used to main the hd599 and I thought those were amazing (they still are especially for the price) but these, at least to my ear are sooo much better. Ofc what sounds good to me might sound horrible to you it’s all preference and what you look for in a headphone at the end of the day. I thought my search for headphones was done after grabbing the hd599 but that was just the beginning… I heard the sennhesiers mostly keep the same signature sound so I figured I’d branch out and try some planars and these headphones kept popping up so I figured why not. Worst comes to worst I’ll just return them if I don’t like them or if they’re too similar. I am NOT returning these! I tested these and my 599s and wow these just sound so much better to me, the clarity of each instrument is just incredible, the soundstage feels so wide I can pin point where enemies are when I play games, these sound so good when listening to any genre they just sound so crisp. I’m not a headphone guy usually I hate wearing headphones and the sennheiser changed that, I saw myself putting them on a lot more than I used to compared to my gaming headset because it felt like too much usually but these hifimans? I try to get these headphones on my ears any time I get the chance, even more so than the hd599s. The size of these bad boys also surprised me I didn’t realize how big they were, not a huge issue for me but maybe if you want a smaller compact headphone these might not be for you. The only complaints I have is these feel like they’re somewhat quiet and the wire could be better… I’m already experiencing static issues due to the connection not being great. Not a huge issue as it’s easily replaceable but ofc a little annoying. Also kinda a funny one is these feel a little more difficult to put on and take off, like I have to put it on a certain way and angle to get it on easily and quickly, most likely a skill issue but pretty funny. Clamp force is pretty strong and the quality of the headphones seem very well built.

My previous Hifiman is the HE400SE which has a neutral but cold leaning sound (upper mids and highs are emphasized, bass lacking). I liked it a lot, but it was far from perfect. The Hifiman Ananda Nano on the other hand is a serious step-up in all aspects. You're getting far better bass extension (goes lower), about the same soundstage and a more neutral yet significantly more natural sound. The positional accuracy is also a little better than the HE400SE. However, this headphone retains the classic "Hifiman dip" between 900Hz and 2000Hz, resulting in many details being somewhat muted. I corrected this by making a simple EQ and it made a world of a difference. I heard some unexpected details in my favorite music (in particular: Execution Day - hollow. (Reimagined) is where i heard the biggest improvement. While the tuning is better, it still is not perfect but the potential is super high, just a little EQ and you're off to the races! That's if you even feel the need to EQ, I didn't for the first few months and I only did it out of curiosity rather than necessity. Minor cons: Headband strap needs to be elastic. Over time it will stretch for easier mounting and dismounting from your head. Speaking of, people with very large heads might not be a fan of the headband as it will flatten out. Slight intensity at 12.5KHz. You might want to upgrade the earpads immediately. I went with the same style as stock, but with memory foam earpads from a third party. BIG DIFFERENCE! I consider this a borderline must. Thank you for reading. I'm still leaving this at 5 stars because my experience after the initial cons has been very good, I'm glued to this headphone.

Haven't quite broken these in yet, but what a marvelous surprise these cans are. Better than many higher priced headphones. Clarity, separation, depth, and lightweight, these are superb. Not going to go into detail, but through the frequency spectrum, these are the best I've bought over Sennheiser, Grado, Audiotechnica, Klipsch. Hifiman really put their best effort into these that were on sale for less than $300 now. So if you're looking for a bargain with very high performance headphones, can't recommend these enough. Just fantastic.

The best headphones I’ve ever had in 50+ years of listening to Senhauser, Sony, Bose, etc. The sound is balanced to treble & mid range is very present imaging is good.. it’s not for bassheads, but I don’t need overwhelming bass..

I loved these headphones when I first got them. There was a small period where the left ear would crinkle every time I put them on, but that went away after the first two days. They sounded AMAZING. Coming off a pair of Sennheiser 6XX, it was flabbergasting how surgically precise the arrangement was on any song I played through them. I almost thought it might be TOO good at it, but I quickly acclimated to the new level of detail within a few days. After a short adjustment period, I was in love. I wish my review could end there. I wish I could have clicked five stars up there with my Nanos on and a big stupid smile on my face. Unfortunately, it was not to be. A little over a week after receiving them, I was boxing them back up to send back to Amazon because the right ear stopped working entirely. It took a couple weeks to get my money back and here we are. Despite how amazing these headphones sound, I cannot recommend this brand. I saw warnings everywhere on Reddit and Amazon about Hifiman's qc issues, but chose to ignore them, hoping I would get lucky. I didn't. I don't care how good your customer support is. I don't care how good your headphones sound. If you can sit there with a straight face and charge me 600 dollars for a pair of headphones that apparently has a dice roll chance of failing, I don't want to deal with you. Even if I wanted to wait for a replacement pair, who is to say that they wouldn't fail a few months from now? A year? The hassle isn't worth it. As it stands, I cannot recommend these headphones. Go use your 600 dollars on a different brand.

Fakat bu sefer airpods kesmez oldu. Kendim3 bir adet fiio jm21 dap aldim. Kulaklik olarak iem simgot ea500lm ve tipsy m3 um var biri cok parlak biride daha nötr bir kulaklik. Sonra the odyofil sayesinde hifiman ürünlerini görünce araştırmaya başladım. Cok uzun araştırmalar sonrasinda ananda nano aldim .jm21 yeterince besleyebiliyor fakat ileride balans 4.4 kablo alacağım fakat su an icin kulaklik beni tatmin etti (medium gainde) .muazzam detay veriyor gerçekten. Evet acik kulaklığa aliskin değilim ama sahnenin bu kadar geniş olmasi insanı alıştırıyor. Evet airpods max 2. Nesil gibi yüksek bas yok fakat bu kulaklik sesi olmasi gerektigi seviyede veriyor ve Evet planar sürücüler inanılmaz hızlı. Bence bu fiyatta alınabilecek en iyilerden biri . İleride daha üst segment bir hifiman e geçebilirim. Tek eksisi biraz malzeme kalitesinin bir tık ucuz hissettirmesi. Ama bunu alacak arkadaşlar bunun bir ev kulaklığı olduğunu bilerek alsınlar. Bir keslz bu kulaklıkta detayları ve sahneyi duyduktan sonra verdiği bass da olmasi gerektiği gibi geliyor algısını oluşturuyor. Bu cihazdan sonra bana airpods max yapay geliyor. Bundan sonra evde bunu kullanırım fakat ucak yolculugudur yada dışarıda kalabalık bir ortamdır vs o zaman airpods max takarım.

Ce casque remplace mon valeureux Sennheiser hd595. Je recherchais un casque au son clair et détaillé , bref , un casque transparent : Je l'ai trouvé , au delà de mes espérances. Avec ce genre de casque , c'est surtout le couple Dac/Ampli qui déterminera la signature sonore :Si vous préférez un son typé "doux" , choisissez le Dac/Ampli en conséquence... Pour l'instant , il est branché directement sur mon PC fixe dont la carte mère intègre un bon circuit audio ( Asus Rog Strix B650E-f gaming ): La puissance fournie par la carte est suffisante la plupart du temps mais un peu juste sur certains enregistrements, je prévois donc un ampli externe. Points négatifs : - Le casque serre très fort la tête , j'ai été obligé de déformer légèrement les arceaux pour y remédier. - Le "simili cuir" des oreillettes parait être très fin , je ne sais pas s'il va durer des années. - Un des écouteurs comportait des petites griffes à la livraison Au final , c'est un excellent rapport performance/prix. Pour la qualité de fabrication , elle est perfectible.

En el rango de 400-460 euros, habiendo rondado casi el doble de su precio en el lanzamiento, estos auriculares de Hifiman son el auricular a comprar si hay dudas con el presupuesto de si gasto más o menos. Mejoran los Ananda originales y los Ananda Stealth, pero estos vienen con su funda rígida de viaje y, como todos los Hifiman de entrada y gama media, con el cable gomoso de 3.5 a las copas y 3.5 a fuente con adaptador de 6.3 mm para amplis y DACs. Suenan de escándalo conforme se sacan de la caja, ni caso a las películas que dicen que hay que hacerle el rodaje como si fuese un peugeot de gasóleo de los años 80. He leído por ahí que necesitan horas y horas. Por favor, no. Llevan los driver planares magnéticos Nano que se pueden ver en modelos superiores, los HE1000 y Arya. Funcionan de escándalo. Es la diferencia con los Ananda normales y los Stealth. El Ananda Nano lleva el driver mejorado. No sé si le interesaba a Hifiman meter un upgrade semejante en un modelo de 400 euros-460 euros, porque se queda muy cerquita en rendimiento sonoro a los modelos superiores. Otra cosa es el tema materiales, aquí hay plástico y metal y pocos accesorios, aunque bueno, viene la funda de viaje, qué ya está bien. Ojo, contad con que HAY QUE AMPLIFICARLOS. Aunque veáis impedancia de 14 ohms, la sensibilidad es bajísima, 94dB. Así que si queréis darle vida, necesitan electricidad. Una vez alimentados, van de escándalo. Todas las frecuencias, sin ecualizar a mi me valen, como los planares, admiten ecualización rápida y precisa. Pero vamos, cuatro pruebas que he hecho, al final los he dejado planos escuchando todo tipo de música. No he llegado a notar sibilancias en las frecuencias más agudas. Los drivers son rápidos y precisos, el escenario perfecto. Pero todo eso es Mis equipos son Fiio, K7 estacionario, en ganancia alta, al 50% volumen, sobrado. En M11 2+ como reproductor hires, ganancia media al 85% volumen a través de la salida 3.5mm, ganancia alta a 55-60% volumen. No he llegado a probarlo con cable balanceado completo, pero con adaptador pentacon/jack OFC y el propio cable de los auriculares, va perfecto igualmente. Con un dongle dac KA11 no y con un KA13 si, en modo escritorio sobrado pero baja la batería de la tablet/móvil. Tema ergonomía, puffff, es algo subjetivo. Yo calzo buen cabezón y me queda un poco justa la diadema de cuero. Pero menos mal que pedí este porque la diadema del edition xs, que es goma, me destrozaría la cabeza directamente. Conclusión: Es un auricular audiófilo que está justo en la entrada por sonido de los auriculares ya "serios". Por materiales no entra en esa clasificación, pero por sonido y tecnología sin duda. Ya la cuestión es elegir hasta dónde queréis gastaros; Sundara, menos dinero, 300 aprox, peor driver y sonido, distinto diseño; Edition XS un poquito menos aún, 250-280 (y peores materiales y ergonomía), o el Ananda Stealth que se acerca a los 400 por abajo. Pero vamos, merece mucho la pena.

Surprised by the clarity, detail, and bass compared to the Edition XS, the soundstage is more narrow, it's closer and more personal. Comfort wise, the ear caps are a bit smaller for a tighter fit, the headband is extremely comfortable, but the headphone clamp might be a bit too much for some people. Also, my pair of headphones has a minor production issue: the right ear is matte finish, while the left ear is glossy.
