Nissan Skyline GT-R Ultimate Portfolio 1969-2010: Road Test Book

I have bought a lot of these Brooklands books and they are always a good buy.Basically they are made up of motoring articles, road tests and adverts that were written during the production life of the cars. As such they give a great insight into what the motoring world thought of these cars when they were being manufactured. Some of the print quality is not great, but this is due to the age of the original material and in no way spoils an excellent read.Highly recommended.

A good overview of the skyline and gtr,on the streets and track.Some sharp photos help move the car through history.Not many in colour,if that is what you are looking.Some test drives collected from magazines are carefully included.Might be a touch on the short side.Not a big buyer of car books,this one is well worth owning.

The book gives a good historical account of the development of the GTR and its predessors the skyline, the book compares the car to other key sports car of the time and relates a good factual account of how the car performed, it is a very reference book for any one thinking of buying a GTR.

Several reviews from different perspectives and some rather irrevalent observations, occasionally conflicting, generally an absorbing survey of this much overrated car, giving little or no information of a practical nature, probably worth the price when assessed from some quarters, L.usherwood
