I've been testing this product out for almost a week now in place of my usual hairspray, so I have had plenty of experience with it to give a fair and honest review. The blunt truth is that this is just an average performance hairspray, which is why I really can't wrap my head around that price tag (£23.00 currently).It's designed for curly, wavy, and coily hair (quoted from the title of the product), and as anyone out there with any of those hair types will know, it can sometimes be tricky finding a product that works well with them. For me, this product isn't one that works particularly great for me and to be honest, even if it did, I wouldn't be willing to pay £23.00 for one single can of hairspray - unless I won the lotto!Overall, it feels like any other average hairspray that doesn't seem to do a great deal very differently from most (far cheaper) brands on the market. For all it claims to be non-drying, I did find using even a small amount was quite drying on my hair personally, and also that it wasn't so easy to brush out even if used sparingly. One thing I do like is that it doesn't smell like normal hairspray does (no chemical strong smells) but instead is a little fruity, which is very much preferable to mainstream hairspray scents. But so far as performance goes, it's just not great (for me anyway, it could be great for someone else). My hair is very frizzy and has tons of flyway's and my normal hairspray tames them without much issue, but this one seems to struggle, I have to admit.Despite my not so great experience with the product, I'd like to point out that I do like the fact this company 'Curlsmith' is cruelty free. I do try to stick to Vegan products wherever and whenever I can, but not at the point of needing to take out a loan just to buy one can of hairspray. If it was more in the region of a more humble £5 or so (even that's a stretch on anyone's purse these days!) then it might be better value considering it's nothing particularly special.

I reckon Curlsmith's Flawless Finish Hairspray has a lot going for it. Specially formulated by Curlsmith - specialists in curly, wavy (that's me) and coily hair - here's a vegan, cruelty free, silicone and sulphate free hairspray that protects against frizz-inducing humidity.Many hairsprays contain alcohol which can be drying - Flawless Finish doesn't. Though the option I went for is Firm Hold, there's none of that hard, brittle feel I've often encountered with this type of hairspray.But beyond this, I also hugely appreciate that this is a hairspray that doesn't reek of strong chemicals when I spray it or send my air purifier into the red zone after spraying and entering the living room. This hairspray has a fresh, slightly citrus smell.I'd like to see all hairsprays go alcohol-free and to smell this good. At the current price point for 283ml, I won't be making this more than an occasional purchase - but lower the price a little and try and stop me. Flawless Finish is an excellent hairspray.

This hairspray was delivered quickly and in good quality packaging. I used it on my curly hair and it worked perfectly. It smells amazing and is not sticky at all, my hair can still move around as well which is great and it doesn't make my hair crunchy and stiff either. It is a large bottle as well so I highly recommend it.

Looking forward to getting this. Not nice. Spray not fine and dried my scalp immediately. Not using again. Overpriced

This curlsmith hairspray comes in a 283ml aerosol spray bottle. It is brilliant- doesn’t leave any sticky feel yet gives a good hold without going hard or crispy. It is also good to work with, you can brush it out to a certain point without it turning white or going flaky. I really like this product, but it is very expensive and I have found similar quality for less than half the cost.
