What did I use before carabiners?!
I find these invaluble on my bag strap. I like the locking ones since they don't get lost accidentally. I have them on (and in) every bag I have. They are so useful to keep things together so they don't get lost (keys etc, in the tardis my bag seem to bacome when I'm looking for them!). I've carried a camping stool on the outside of my bag. I'll get some more when the rest of the family 'borrow' them for themselves!
