Seal was off and container crushed
The bottle was squeezed and the seal inside was completely off. The color of the ground nutmeg is very dark brown and it is fragrant but it's a problem when it arrives in such poor condition.*** The company reached out and corrected the problem. They are reputable and I've had a positive experience overall. I'd definitely do business with them in the future.

Quality control needs work
I was looking forward to this nutmeg since it is a versatile ingredient that can flavor a dish without much of it. Therefore, I will say that this spice is important to be of high quality. This was frustrating since I did have a slight seal problem with mine. So the freshness wasn’t that great. It smelled very fragrant like usual but I still didn’t trust it. For what it’s worth, it’s a big jug of this nutmeg for a good value. Still disappointed though

Lovely nutmeg!
This nutmeg smells fresh and is tasty! The grains are a nice size, and it is easier to use than with the whole nutmegs. I love nutmeg on my french toast!! It's also great on top of a frozen pina colada!!!!This nutmeg is packaged in the USA.I hope you found my review helpful!!
