Enjoyable and helpful. Love it!
I bought this book to start a New Year but like everything time flies and I didn’t start it.But oh my goodness what I have missed!This book is a good friend, a positive thought and can change my day.Now each morning I read a bit more with cuppa in hand and think how that can work for me and it does.Love it and glad I bought the book version for me and not the audio because I’ve gone back over some as a reference too. :)

A daily gift for mind, body and soul
This lovely book gives different kinds of wellbeing insights, one for every day of the year, and feels like encouragement from a good friend rather than trawling through a hefty instruction manual. Guidance relates to each day, month and season, so can be started at anytime of year to benefit from the bitesized daily learnings.

A brilliant daily companion
A splendid almanac full of health based tips to keep you alive (and feeling alive.) The appraoch is personable, unpretentious and realistic. The almanac is a joy to read and will cheer you even if you never got round to doing any of the simple yoga based activities. Would make a great gift for anyone's birthday, or a brilliant Christmas gift.

I will actually use this one!
This is not so much a book to sit down and read, though I did enjoy skimming through it with a cuppa, but as a daily guide. Rather than just being a collection of daily practices, the book takes you through the actual dates for each month which, for me, will make it easier to stick to using it daily. Although written by an experience yoga practitioner and teacher, you don’t have to know yoga to use it as there are very clear (and rather cute) little stick diagrams to follow, and they can all be adapted for chair use if getting down on the floor isn’t an option. But it’s not just about yoga. There are helpful tips on eating, breathing and relaxing, and more. Written in a warm and straightforward style, this is one “how to” book that I will actually use daily. Highly recommended.

Practical book that feels like a friend
A practical book giving a useful lifestyle tip to try for every day. I like how it presents one per day, so you can dip into it without feeling the need to read it from cover to cover and getting overwhelmed by the huge amount of things to try (even though I eventually did out of curiosity!). Reading one suggestion daily allows one to focus on and practice each one. It’s a good idea to bookmark tips you are drawn to and want to focus on for a bit or that might come in handy when needed, for example to help sleep or anxiety. It is full of Isabel’s knowledge picked up from her life experiences including but not limited to yoga and ayurveda. It’s written in a friendly way, just like Isabel speaks, so comes across like a supportive friend.

A practical guide for living well every day
This readable guide to living well is filled with the practical wisdom of an experienced teacher of yoga and meditation. It is great for dipping into and returning to and each day there is something new to try or think about. Techniques and practices are clearly explained and the many diagrams add something extra. I like the links Isabel makes with the seasons, encouraging readers to engage with the world around whilst exploring things which help us get the best from life every day of the year.
