My daughter loved this so much. She loves being able to write in it if desired and gets to chat with her best friends about the wizarding world.

It's a fun read, and amazing for reference

This book is really an incredible compilation of real-life history and Wizarding lore. I can’t even imagine the amount of time and effort this took to put together. I feel like they should should be charging 10x the price for the amount of work this probably entailed. This book is a must have for any real Harry Potter fans!

After reading this book, I was surprised that about half of the book was about “muggle” world history than I expected. Some pages were entirely devoted to standard history with a small sentence on musings if a witch or wizard may have influenced things. If you are looking for a full book of magical history in the world of Harry Potter, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

If I didn't have someone who really wanted to read this book, despite my warnings, I would have thrown it in the trash. Somewhere close to the end of the third paige, it was perfectly obvious to me that this work, while promising to take me through a deep dive of the wonderful magic of the Wizarding World, was really just an opportunity for the author(s) to highlight their own political ideology.If I wanted "copy and paste" information about a real, verifiable time-line on muggle history, I would Google such information, had I not retained such knowledge from my time spent in grammar school.

This books contents were not what I expected. I was expecting everything to do with the Wizarding world, not a mix of things happening in their world plus our (muggle) world. If I wanted to know the history of our world (which I learnt some in school ) I can go to google and look it up. I don’t particularly want to know about Eugenics that getting into politics, I am not interested in politics at all. I am going to just send it back for a refund. I really don’t recommend this book at all.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As a history nerd, I absolutely love how the authors worked in significant real world events alongside the history known from Harry Potter book canon. Such a cool concept!
