I would buy Tamiya kits again maybe another dinosaur model

Really pleased with my raptors and they will look great with rest of my dinosaur models

These were great fun to put together and exactly what I had been looking for

A Great model, good fun to build and come with extra legs and looks great in my diorama.

Another nice dinosaur kit. Detail is fine and as already stated you get two extra legs for a little variety. There was evidence of a very small amount of flash but that is easily taken care of by running a sharp blade around the edge. The box has illustrations of which parts to use for each velociraptor and suggested colours (Tamiya colour codes are shown). Despite the product details above saying that it is in German the box is in Japanese and English. Little snippets of information are also included on the end flaps of the box. The bases for the models have been made in the shape of rocks and are hollow. This does allow for the addition of a little weight for stability especially if using these for "Lost World" adventure games.

1:35 turned out to be rather small.

These raptors were an exciting find; I bought these dinosaurs to add some quirks to an already very odd diorama with some of my 1/35 scale military models. They're a pretty simple build - I'd recommend the kit for absolute beginner builders - but the details are not cheap, and the finished model looks wonderful. You get six velociraptors with a kit, and each comes with a base, as pictured. Like other Tamiya kits, this one includes some fantastic artwork and a detailed painting guide on the back of the box, though I personally have yet to paint mine. My only gripe about these, as a bit of a paleontology nut, is that they are not all that accurate. If you're looking for Jurassic Park-style velociraptors, or perhaps a model more in scale with a Utahraptor, these guys are perfect. Without the base, they stand a little bit higher than a standard 1/35 human figure. I was still able to stretch my imagination a little with them in my current diorama, and I have no doubt that they'd make a great addition to other fantasy or prehistoric sets. I'm looking forward to seeing how well my Marines fare against them.
