These take a bit of getting used to, but once you do, you won't regret the purchase. They're fairly accurate and don't require clean up since the little pellet things burst on impact. One thing to note is you can shoot the pellets before they're 'ready', meaning they will fire but will mislead you in thinking the impact is light since the velocity is greatly reduced. Once fully expanded, the pellets actually hurt quite a bit. So take heed before shooting this at someone. My only negative remark is how difficult it is to pull the trigger. I can pull it with one finger with a bit of labor, it's much easier with two fingers. Younger kids will have difficulty in pulling the trigger though. These are cheap and fun, and if your goal is target practice and you don't want to pick up bbs, then this is a good choice.

Our whole senior class all has gel blasters, didn’t wanna blow a bunch of money on some but didn’t wanna cheap out, these are totally worth it cus they shoot hard enough to sting but not to really do any harm. Having two blasters in one box is also really fun cus you can either dual wield or hand one to a friend and have a shootout. I’ve only had them for a day but have performed pretty solid for the 8 bucks I got them. We’ll see how long they last, I recommend you don’t let the balls be soaking wet or they will jam. The plastic quality and built is amazing for its price. (Will change to 5 stars if they hold up over time).

These were great! I hosted a birthday party for my son and nine 14yr old boys. They had a blast and played with these for hours! Way longer than I expected them too. They are easy to load and the range is way farther than expected also. Tip #1: They filled empty water bottles with the gel beads so they could reload on the go. Tip #2: I ordered small pen flashlights that they taped to the side of the guns. This allowed them to play well into the night for even more hours of fun. These boys played HARD for hours. They dipped the whole gun into coolers filled with the gel beads to load them, they threw them down on the ground, and were definitely not careful with them. And they held up great!!

We used these for my son's 13th birthday party, and they were a hit with all the kids and even the adults! Easy to use and didn't hurt much at all only if u shot right up close! My kids are still enjoying them, shooting everything in our backyard and make easy clean up as the bullets just evaporate into the ground! They do not jam up much at all...if they do, they are easy to fix quickly and get right back to shooting!

The trigger pull is a little hard. I bought them because they were cheaper than the automatic version and I needed 12 guns for my kids birthday party. They are single shot which probably kept us from having any injuries but the trigger pull on it is kind of hard, they don’t reload well. You just pop the plastic top and pour them in but the kids had trouble doing it themselves. They were spilling them everywhere. I like the automatic version better.

This works great for what it is and the price. They are inexpensive and do not need batteries. They were used as birthday party "goodie bags". Before we had Nerf birthday parties and this is much better. No clean up of hundreds of foam bullets, among other drawbacks of Nerf battles. If anything needs to be taken into account is that children do need a bit of strength to pull the trigger, I would say at least 5 years old and they would need their index and middle finger to do so. Additionally, the glasses that come with the sets are not good really, not because they will not protect the eyes but if any person gets shot on the face with the balls, they will just quit the game, so if you are using these find full face masks unless you want bruised crying children, or adults. The manufacturer could sell the set with masks, but then that would bring the price up. It was not a problem for us as we had the masks already from Nerf battles. I read that the guns jam or do not work properly. We did not have issues like that. You need to be aware that the ball reloads with gravity so it will not work if you are shooting straight up, or with the gun sideways. Additionally, whenever the gun did not load because a ball did not fall in, the solution was just to shake the gun to reset the balls.

Its a rally fun toy make sure to fully submerge the orbese with water and let them fully grow and do not shoot echother because it really hurts

I found that the price was right, it contains two guns with protective eyewear, there are other guns out there that are more expensive but my grandson and I are happy to be using the ones I purchased for Christmas highly recommend buying them for your grandson granddaughter etc

Good price for this item. Fun for older kids.

Really fun to go out camping with. They can take a beating too.
